We had such a wonderful stay at this rental. Everything was clean and was so cozy. The location is perfect. We will definitely be booking again.

Although the property is a bit dated, it was homey and comfortable. My family and I had a fantastic week and are already looking forward to next year.

We had a good stay and enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach. We would consider staying again if the price was right, but there were several things we wish we had known before booking. The home also seemed to need repairs and updates not apparent from the listing.Pros:Good price for the location.Very close to the beach.The water to the left was extremely shallow and great for our young kids.Cons:All downstairs ceiling vents were closed when we arrived, so it was very hot for the first few days until we figured it out. The recessed vents must be pulled down to open.The flooring felt sunken/squishy near the sliding door, kitchen, and upstairs shower.Rusty nail heads stuck up from the deck; one child hurt their foot and an adult stepped on one.One upstairs bathroom had condensation around the ceiling vent, with occasional dripping. The sink by the bunk-bed room leaked.There are submerged stumps directly in front of the house. The water to either side was clear, but with three children under five, we wish we had known.A piece of fascia had come off the roof and was on the upper deck.Wi-Fi did not reach the upstairs bedrooms, and cell service was poor.An upstairs bedroom doorknob came off while opening the door.Good to know:Very few kid-friendly dishes; most were glass.The downstairs bedroom has a window AC near the head of the bed that cycles on/off and is fairly loud.

There are definitely some maintenance items that need to be addressed on this property but when we left, I felt confident that they were already being taken care of the following week. The host was very easy to contact and they actually contacted me first to let me know if maintenance items that were a problem (and would be addressed after our stay) and to make sure we would be ok with it or move us to a new property. The house was clean, it is in a great location, and the private boardwalk is really nice. It is shared with the other neighbors but not many houses and it not a public boardwalk. The walk to the beach was very short and it is also very close to the shell station and gift shop. We were able to walk there. Just a few blocks away. The view is gorgeous. We truly enjoyed our stay and we intend to return. Thanks so much!!
