Canal Home near Golf Course . 20x32 Heated Pool.15 MIN To BEACHES

Welcome to our Canal Front 3 bedroom home (Great Fishing) located in Rotonda West, minutes from award winning beaches, and Golf Courses. Boca Grande, Manasota Key, Englewood, and Gasparilla Island to list a few. We have canoes to explore the miles of canals with views of wildlife. There are fishing poles, bikes(4), air hockey table in garage , beach chairs , cooler, beach umbrella, and the game corn hole to use in the gaage.

Everything is NEW. We have furnished and stocked our home as it were a year round
primary home. The kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and plank floors thru out. The bathrooms are updated and spa like. We have a beautiful screened in lanai with a HUGE heated water pool overlooking the canal. There is a gas grill, dining table, lounge wicker, and cable t.v. by the pool.(This is where I spend all my time when visiting). Also a wood burning fire pit to enjoy at night.

Our 2 star rating is based on the host of the house. The house itself was well equipped and was nice overall! However, we did have some issues upon arrival and the host was not accommodating and actually was very rude! I was flabbergasted at her responses!! Therefore, we would never stay there again and do not recommend!! There are so many options in the Rotunda, so just go with one that has great communication reviews!! It makes a difference!!!
The coffee pot wasn’t cleaned from last visitors. That is mold growing! 🤢
Closet was filthy, we couldn’t even use!🤢
Dirty shower!!!🤢
This is in main entrance! A mess of dead vines that need cleaned out! 🤢

Some of the amenities were not operational and needed attention. The house was very nice but there was no propane tank supplied for the grill and the pool heat was not turned up so it took several days to warmup.

We’ve been visiting Rotonda West for 4 years and loved every rental until this one. On our 2nd day, the owner contacted me early in the morning to inform me that an inspector would be coming to check the windows. We were completely caught off guard and unprepared. Even the realtor escorting the inspector didn’t know the house was occupied. Also came to find out house is on market, this should be communicated in posting. Cleanliness was a major issue. At first glance, the home looked fine, but the shower still had hair on the walls and floor, the living room had large dust/hair balls, and the coffee pot was left full of moldy grounds.The biggest disappointment was the pool area the main reason we booked this property. The concrete around the pool was filthy, and I didn’t even want to walk barefoot. The pool floor had chipped surface pieces, dirt, and debris that looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. There was a disgusting wadded-up rag or garment left poolside, and black mold around the tile rim. The patio screen door latch was broken, letting lots of bugs n and dying were floating in pool each day. We barely used pool b/c kids were so grossed out.Amenities didn’t match the listing: the air hockey table was broken, only one kayak (listing showed two), and the “year-round stocked” kitchen had only basic supplies. Garbage cans were overflowing from what looked like weeks-old trash, so we had nowhere to put ours until cramming it in before checkout.

Vacation Saver!

It rained every day we were in the area and this place saved our vacation! We traveled with 5 teenagers who enjoyed the pool when we couldn’t go to the beach! Great place to stay with a family and/or friends with kids!

Summer Vacation

Perfect location for visiting Boca Grande & local beaches. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors & beautiful wildlife. Very spacious home with a wonderful relaxing pool area. Snook tarpon & bass in backyard. Hooked up using topwater & small swim baits. Had an incredible experience here we’ll be back.

Very spacious, tastefully decorated.The photos in the listing are a little outdated. It was mostly clean except for the refrigerator, floors and the patio/pool area. The grill was unusable, as the grates were completely rusty. I cleaned the dirty mop head in the washer and mopped all the floors myself. The patio doors were covered in dirt, I cleaned those as well. The biggest disappointment was the host/property manager. If you value a communicative and responsive host/property manager you won't find it here. There was little to no communication. The listing clearly stated that check out was at 11am. At 10am there was a knock on the door from the cleaner stating that she needed to get in to clean. I showed her the listing that said check out was at 11:00. She said the property manager told her that she had just sent me a message changing the check out time to 10:00. At 10:00 she claims to have sent a message changing the check out time to 10:00?? I actually never received any messages from her about check out time or about any check out instructions. She was not helpful at all during our stay and when I messaged her about the check out mix up she replied, "Yes, thank you". I have never had such an uncommunicative and disinterested host/property manager. It will definitely make me appreciate good hosts in the future! The beds were comfy and clean so at least we slept well for the three nights we were there. There is a Publix less than 5 minutes away.

This place was a complete joke

the pool was filthy and had rust stains which cause bacteria. How could expect people to safely swim in it. The master toilet was left with someone elses stuff in itand the toilet didnt flush. The renter was comopletely in denail and unresponsive until I actually told her I was leaving with my family and would not be staying there. The only thing she said was that the pool stains would not come out. I repeatedly asked her to call me and she said she was not availble to call. There was mold in the closets and panel coming off the walls. The step out to the pool areas is extremely dangerous and not safe for anyone. My mother almost fell as wel as my grandson. Completely unacceptable. Fighting to get my money back. DONT STAY HERE!

Exactly As Listed!

No surprises here! Just a great space for our family to gather and looks exactly like the photos. The pool was the highlight and very well heated and comfortable. It was a perfect place to gather after a day at the beach. The floor plan was nicely spread out so we didn’t feel crowded. Be careful on the number of people you state are attending as there may be extra charges for over a certain number that isn’t clear in the description. Confirm check in and check out times as they are different than described. We decided not to bring our dog from our original reservation and were given a small refund at the end. Enjoy!

Really Nice Place

Loved the house. The pool was fantastic and really enjoyed the outdoor TV/hangout area by the pool. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and all of the tools were there to cook at home vs going out to restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again

Very Nice Property.

My husband is originally from Englewood and we have been coming down for the past ten years to visit family and friends. We always stay in the Rotonda area for the convenience. The Pros: This is a great house in a central location. The pool is a nice size and stays cool in the Florida heat. The patio area had outside fans which helped with bugs and keeping cool. The fenced in yard helps to keep your pup from exploring, but be mindful gators do climb fences. The house has everything you need and more (bikes, kayaks, pool floats, cooler, and even a crib in the garage). The sliding screen doors on the garage was a great bonus. The kitchen was stocked with nice pots and pans which helped out with our low country boil. Open floorplan and spilt bedrooms was a great feature. The Cons: The property details states that there is a gas grill (which there is), however, it makes no statement that they do not provide or guarantee that the tank will have propane in it. You must take care of this yourself. Every house I have rented in Englewood has come with a full propane tank. It has even been delivered when the current one was empty or ran out. Would I have still rented the home? Maybe, maybe not (given the price point to rent), but knowing a head of time would have made planning a whole lot easier. When we planned to grill out 4 of the 8 nights we were there, having to change our menu due to the 1/4 tank of gas was frustrating to say the least. After all, purchasing a full tank of gas that we would be expected to leave was not cost effective either. Understandably, each rental is different and at the owners accord as to what they want to provide or not provide. But, the listing for the house should communicate to a potential renter that something like this is not provided, so they can make an informed decision. Helpful Hint: In the past the majority of homes that we stayed in had a notebook which was usually left out in a common area that provided information about the home and surrounding area. Not that we need info about Englewood, but others might. It normally provides helpful hints regarding the property and other things to be mindful about. This would help a renter learn more about the house, where items are located (like the wi-fi receiver) and how certain things work or do not work. Overall, the house is a very nice house and the neighbors were pleasant as well.

Comfortable home, quiet neighborhood

We loved our stay! From the clean, modern decor of the house, to the comfortable beds, soft sheets, and spacious layout… The kitchen is well-stocked with just about everything you would need to prepare your meals. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels so that you don’t have to bring any from home. Beach chairs/toys, bikes, and kayaks are a definite bonus. The pool was heated really well and clean. Our family rented another house and commented on how warm our pool was compared to theirs. I also appreciate all the little extras that John and Tracy provide upon your arrival such as hand soaps, dish soap, dish washer pods, laundry pods, toilet paper, paper towels. Love that there is Roku tvs in each room. It’s always nice to retire in the evening to your own room to watch tv before bed. And the bunk beds with the pullout trundle were perfect for my three sons. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Close proximity to beaches and Eldreds Marina where our boat was docked. We only had a couple concerns during our stay but John and Tracy were very prompt to contact and resolve. Definitely enjoyed our time and I would stay here again.

The outside of property was not kept up, screens broken, overgrown shrubs, broken wood outside backdoor that was dangerous for small children walking in and out. I did some weeding myself along the back side door to get in and out. Several people came to service things and it wasn't communicated to us. The hosts were not responsive to our messages. Overall the inside of property was clean. Some basic amenities like trash bags and laundry soap would be nice for guests staying. We left all the stuff we purchased behind for the next guests. The pool toys were appreciated along with wagon and beach stuff. Pool area is very shaded and no lounge chairs for sun bathing. Neighbor is not friendly and probably needs a private property sign for his dock so he doesn't yell at other guests.

Christmas Vacation

This home was nice and open with a big heated pool and so many toys, games and bikes for our kids to enjoy. Our family’s really enjoyed staying and loved that it was only a few minutes from the beach. We were able to rent kayaks, paddle boards and golf carts only minutes away from the house. Great place to stay! 😁

Couples long weekend away

We enjoyed our stay here. We were close to both beaches. (Boca and Englewood beach) They had so many things to use here at the house but our favorite part was the pool. It is larger than most houses we have stayed at in Florida. They fully updated the inside of the house and it looks very nice. We enjoyed playing cards at the dining room table each night. We would consider staying here and bringing our kids next time. Thank you for your accommodations, we enjoyed our time away.
