On the entrance floor of this typically Madeiran house, you will find an open-plan living and dining room, access to the kitchen, and a suite with a double bed, private bathroom with shower, and a single sofa bed. Access to the upper floor is via a spiral staircase. On this level, there is an office area, a bathroom with shower, and a bedroom with two single beds, which gives access to a nice balcony.

The architecture and stone walls are typical of the area, making the rural experience even more authentic. The quiet atmosphere allows you to enjoy the chirping of birds in a private grass garden. The outdoor dining area connects to a cultivated area with fruit trees accessible to guests, including vines, lemon, anone, and tangerine trees, as well as yams, spinach, and other plants and flowers.

A perfect place for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Ideal for relaxing with family and very close to Levada dos Canhas, for those who enjoy hiking and being in touch with nature.

AREA
Located in Canhas, Ponta do Sol, in a very quiet area. Close to Levada dos Canhas and a few minutes from Madalena do Mar, known for paragliding, beach, bars, and restaurants with fresh fish. Nearby are mini markets and some bars. Canhas is about 30 minutes by car from Funchal city center.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to reach the property is by transfer (ask us to book with our local partners; it is cheaper than airport taxis). If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply to all requests. We also have an app for guests with all important information about the property and your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, guests will be subject to our team's availability.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. First aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket are on the property.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.

By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.

ATTENTION
- Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Ponta do Sol: €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over), up to a maximum of 7 nights and €14.00 per person/stay. Upon arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
- No pets allowed. Please don’t feed wild or domestic animals.
- No parties allowed.
