Sunrise House, a Home in Madeira

Sunrise House is set in part of a house near the village of Ponta do Sol, for families or groups of up to four people — it has a terrace overlooking the sea and the farmland, with a private jacuzzi, sun loungers and an outdoor table.

The accommodation comprises two bedrooms, one with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm) and the other with a double bed (150 × 200 cm), a bathroom with a shower, a living room and a kitchen.

It is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer, bed linen, towels, ironing equipment, Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), a TV with international channels and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The accommodation is in a rural area about 2 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafés.

Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira.

A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.

The property has access to the main roads, but some roads are steep and narrow.

A car is recommended for this location.

There is free parking on the property.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For anyone who is not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
