«Not only was our room incredible, but the entire staff, the on-site restaurant, and the charming little gift shop were all wonderful.
We stayed in the "HOKULANI" room. It had a beautiful balcony where we could watch the birds perched in the ‘Ohi‘a Lehua trees and listen to them sing. Warming up by the fireplace in the room allowed us to truly relax. The Hawaiian quilt on the bed was stunning, and we loved the warm, woody feel of the entire room.

«Amazing location with beautiful people. Snorkelling is awesome with beautiful corals and vast variety of fish. Almost like camping even with the rain, but we were dry and comfortable inside the fale. Dinner and breakfast was plentiful traditional island food with some modern additions. Make sure you bring cash to pay for your stay as the nearest eftpos in an hour away»

«Kellie was truly welcoming and accommodating, giving us a tour around the place when we arrived. Such a lovely and unique stay, and it was an added bonus that we were able to go foraging for fresh macadamia nuts in the yard! Truly like paradise. «We loved our stay at Dragonfly Ranch. The location is out of the way but perfect for seeing the beauty and splendor that is Hawaii. The people are kind and interesting. It's not for everyone. You are quite immersed in nature. There will be geckos in your room and the birds and insects are right outside. It's almost like camping with a comfy bed. »

«Kelly was a wonderful host. Since she had cancellations while we were there (Jan 2026) she upgraded us to the master with ensuite. There are 3 bedrooms in total. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were all kinds of snacks and coffee, tea, milk available. Kelly made lovely breakfast for us each morning and was so accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Hilo. You do need a car. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B. Thank you Kelly and ...
