Lakefront Oasis, Dog-Friendly with Boat and Sauna included

This recently renovated dog-friendly (with a pet fee) lakefront home with Pocono Summit Lake right in the backyard creates the ideal vacation. The perfect getaway spot for family & friends to enjoy the Pocono Mountains! This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home hosts a full kitchen, propane fireplace, large sauna, deck, charcoal grill, rowboat, 2 kayaks, stand up paddle board, blazing fast internet and more.

The master bedroom suite has a beautiful lake view, full bath and new queen-sized bedroom set. The second bedroom has a new queen-sized bedroom set and the morning sunshine. The third bedroom has 2 sets of bunkbeds, plenty of USB charging stations and a 50” TV ready for a video game system. The family room has beautiful lake views, a 50” TV with Amazon Firestick for streaming your favorite shows and a cozy propane fireplace to warm up after a day on the slopes. The dining room is setup for a large family meal or an ideal spot for working remotely while overlooking the lake. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances (including dishwasher), a Keurig machine and all the cookware and utensils to make a gourmet meal. There is a cozy breakfast bar, where you can drink your coffee and tea, also with beautiful lake views. In the garage, there is a large sauna to warm up or just relax.

Outside, you’ll find a spacious deck and patio with a firepit and charcoal grill (bring the charcoal). And of course, there is a dock leading you to why you came here in the first place, the lake. A row boat, 2 kayaks and a stand up paddle board are included during the warmer months and an electric motor, battery and charger is available upon request.

The house has 1 Gig internet (>400 Mbps WIFI) to accommodate plenty of devices and streaming. Close to grocery, restaurants, pharmacy, area attractions and many other shops…all within 5 minutes.

Fantastic home - the photos don't do it justice. We loved being directly on the lake and spent so much time sitting on the deck or floating in the lake. All the little details have been taken care of - linens, starter shampoo and paper products, trash bags, dishwasher pods. Grocery store literally 5 minutes away so it was easy to just run out for something to grill for dinner. Our dog only stayed for a night but he loved the yard and the deck, too. We were entertained watching all the planes and helicopters flying overhead all weekend from the very nearby airport. Our only disappointment was not the fault of the homeowner but rather the negligence of a previous renter who left broken oars and a nonfunctioning electric motor, so the row boat was useless. We were hoping to get out into the lake itself to do some fishing but were not able to. Homeowners offered places to take things for repair or replacement, and would have reimbursed the cost, but that was more hassle than we wanted to deal with. If something breaks when you are renting PLEASE tell the homeowner! All you're doing by staying quiet is pushing the problem onto the next renter who just wants to enjoy their vacation, same as you did. Also - if you're thinking (like I did) that this cute little lake actually joins the slightly bigger lake directly next to it - not really. There's a dam between the lakes, so no paddling between the two. Not an issue at all for us - just not what I had imagined in my head.

Immaculately clean, well-decorated, stocked with everything we could need. Owner was very communicative and responsive to questions. Beautiful, peaceful setting, but still close to stores, restaurants, etc. No neighbors around during the week so it felt very private. Our boys loved the kayaks, paddle board, boat, and sauna. I loved napping on the hammock. We caught large mouth bass in the lack and cooked them on the grill. I loved that our dog was welcome there. She loved sunning herself on the patio and cooling off in the reeds. An ideal vacation.

Great place!

We had a terrific 5 days while attending a competition event at the nearby Kalahari convention center, only a 5 minute drive away. It was so nice to spend down time enjoying family at the lake. The house is clean, comfortable and stocked with anything you need. Jill is one of the best VRBO hosts - very responsive and proactive. If you're in the area, do not hesitate to rent this house.

We had an amazing stay at the Lakefront Oasis in Mt. Pocono! The home was everything we hoped for — peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for both people and pets.The lakefront setting made for beautiful mornings and peaceful evenings, and having the boat and sauna included really took the experience to the next level.What really made our trip special was how friendly and communicative Jill was throughout the process. From the moment we booked, she was proactive in sharing helpful tips and quick to answer any questions. She genuinely cared about making sure our stay was enjoyable and it showed in every interaction.If you're looking for a dog-friendly getaway with beautiful views, great amenities, and a host who truly goes above and beyond, this is the place. Best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in

This was by far the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. They had EVERYTHING!!! Comfy beds, every kitchen utensil you could need, washer/dryer with detergent, dishwasher with detergent, every cleaning product you could need, basic kitchen spices, etc. you name it, they had it!!! I was so impressed. The house was absolutely spotless as well. There is so much to do in the neighborhood. The location was great!! The property managers were super responsive and flexible when we requested to stay an extra day because of the snowstorm. I would absolutely stay here again, no questions asked.

Amazing Lakefront Getaway with Sauna and Cozy Charm!

We spent New Year's at this incredible lakefront house and it was an absolute joy! The house is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Its charm truly made our holiday memorable.The location is perfect—just 15 minutes from Camelback for skiing and only 5 minutes to nearby shopping, making everything super convenient. After a fun day on the slopes, it was so relaxing to return to this cozy retreat. We especially loved the sauna, the gas fireplace, and the outdoor fire pit, which made our evenings extra special. My daughter had a blast roasting marshmallows, and we even enjoyed a BBQ thanks to the provided grill.The beds were incredibly comfortable and having towels provided was a thoughtful touch. The owner went above and beyond when I forgot some items, personally shipping them back to me—such amazing hospitality!We will definitely return to this gem and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Cream of the crop

House is easy to get to and well-marked. Waterfront property and grass yard for dogs to play in. Labeling on household equipment and lights as well as instructions on use went a long way towards enjoying the property. Everything was clean and in working order with lots of amenities. Neighbors were friendly and it is a great walking community.

Weekend getaway

Came for a last minute weekend getaway. The setting was beautiful, house was so clean and welcoming. My son loved the kids room and we loved the tranquil setting. The weather was a bit cold for April so the included board games and streaming TV access were perfect. The owners were kind, quick to respond and even were so kind as to include linens, towels and a basket of items in case we forgot any thing! Included k cups as well! We thought we left a cherished stuffed animal behind and the owners were so quick to offer help. Great stay!

Dog-friendly, clean and well stocked, and beautiful lake access!

My husband and I and our two college-aged children and our dog loved staying at this property. It is a very clean and comfortable home with a beautiful outdoor space. There is a dock for easy lake access with the provided kayaks and stand-up paddleboard. Our dog especially loved hanging out on the deck. We used the kitchen often and appreciated how well supplied it is. The living and dining rooms, as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms, are all in excellent condition and wonderfully decorated. We appreciated that linens are provided, and a washing machine and dryer are available! The house is on a quiet street and a variety of wildlife visit the property- squirrels and geese, of course, but we also saw a groundhog, a chipmunk, rabbits, deer (on a daily basis), a frog, turtles, and a couple of raccoons. Communication with the owners before and during the stay was excellent. We're so grateful for a wonderful week!

Wonderful lakefront vacation!

Wonderful place for a summer vacation. The house was beautiful, even nicer than expected. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, nice deck and patio. Loved kayaking, paddle boarding., biking and hiking nearby. The keurig in kitchen and toiletries in the bathrooms were very nice touches. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Loved the views and enjoyed the sunsets from the dock. Highly recommend for families. We all loved it, including our dogs who layed on the deck all day! Hope to return some day.

Beautiful, peaceful setting and a nicely appointed, comfortable house.

We enjoyed just being at the home, kayaking, sitting lakeside, reading on the couch with a view of the lake. But it was also easily accessible to a lot of hiking, rafting, biking. MOST IMPORTANTLY F0R US, since we had two young people who had to work remotely a lot of the time, THE INTERNET CONNECTION WAS GREAT.

Great vacation home

This home was so beautiful and family friendly. Very clean. Loved the decor and the rooms were beautiful. Dogs and kids loved it. They had everything there besides extra paper towel. Kitchen was fully stocked and had extra things like a blender which was nice. Communication was a little off as the listing states check out 11:00 but we had to be out by 10 on Memorial Day. I didn’t like that there was a door you can only unlock from the inside or outside with a key (made us feel a little uneasy) in the master. Overall beautiful house and great memories made. Will stay again.

Exceeded our Expectations

This property was perfect and working with the owners was a stress free process. They provided so many extras for our trip that typically we would have to bring along. The house felt like a home away from home and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Fishing on the lake was amazing and we have so many pics on the fish we caught. What a great weekend! Before we left we had 4 deer show up in the yard. Beautiful. Thank you.

A perfect summer family vacation spot

This house was everything we could have hoped for and more. We enjoyed a week-long stay here - me and my husband, our 9 year-old daughter, my parents, and our mid-sized dog. Upon arrival, we were blown away with how well-equipped the house was- from k-cups and travel shampoos to towels on each bed and dog bowls, there was nothing lacking. The house and rooms are spacious and updated, with tasteful decor and new, contemporary furniture. The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware you might need, and all the kitchen appliances feel brand new ( the oven is to die for!) Bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The lake is great for fishing- my husband caught large-mouth bass and pickerel from the kayak every day. I enjoyed some evening paddleboard rides, and the rowboat was fun for some family jaunts. The water is shallow- it wasn’t great for swimming, but a state park up there road and the multiple water parks in the area made up for that. The location of the home is very convenient- everything you might need is a 5-20 minute drive. Kalahari is 5 minutes away (such a fun ropes course!) and Camelback is about a 20 minute drive. We found a trail about 10 minutes away that was perfect to bring the dog. The homeowners were beyond kind and responsive, and really did everything to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We have stayed in many Vrbo houses over the years; most of the time, the photos are deceptive and the house is not as nice as you anticipate. With this house, we were overjoyed and impressed with the quality of the house and amenities. It is clear these owners love their home and care a lot about the satisfaction of their guests. We cannot recommend this property enough.

This was a wonderful opportunity to get away with our daughter and grandchild for a week and just appreciate the surroundings and time together. Conveniently located to several playgrounds...who knew, but very important with little ones. Overall, a fabulous location for activities in the area. The lake was wonderful to relax by. We all went out on the rowboat, my husband became the "fisherman in a kyack" (not the only one) which was very enjoyable for him and we had regular visits from many waterfowl right at the dock. We prepared all meals in a well-equipped kitchen. All amenities were just as described. A very clean and comfortable home. I would highly recommend this property!
