«Playa Cativo Lodge is a wonderful place and the accommodations, food and staff were absolutely perfect. It was nice to be so close to the gulf which was calm, warm, sandy and perfect for swimming. My only complaint was that the entire front area of the lodge has been landscaped with grass and ornamental plants, many of which are not native. «We met Katia the owner and she was a super lovely person! Caelyn was also another precious soul so they really made our stay super welcoming. The place itself is super cute! The room was clean the beds were comfy and the outdoor patio area/pool is super chill vibes. There were also so many birds we got to see right at the hotel! «What an incredible experience it was to stay here!!! Definitely high-end accommodations for a treehouse. Michael was a pleasure to work with, was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we got there late. We loved being in the trees and so close to so much wild life. I definitely would recommend for someone who loves nature and the outdoors. We all had an overwhelming feeling of sadness the day we had to leave.»
