Veldig bra Hotel. Hyggelig betjening. Den ene dama i frokosten var litt dårlig til å fylle på med kaffe og slikt. Spesielt hun ene i resepsjonen var veldig veldig veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom. Hun andre var ok. Fint hotell. Fine rom. Greit basseng. God frokost. Bra område. Alt i alt veldig fornøyd egentlig med alt. Vi ble ganske mange netter egentlig. Mer enn planlagt.

Amazing service, best location
Though we didn't like Playa del Carmen, Riviera del Sol was an amazing hotel! Really cosy, and the service was A+. Lying on the north end, the area is the best in PDC, not in the centre of the "charter-tourist-trap". Stay here.

Hyggelig sentralt uten støy
Lite hyggelig hotell, med kort vei til strand (5min) og 50m fra 5th Avenue. Meget hyggelig betjening. Rommet var romslig og hadde alt som trengs med TV-CD spiller, minibar og aircon, kaffetrakter og liten oppvask benk. 18 dagers opphold og et sted jeg lett kunne komme tilbake til. Om noe er litt begrenset er det frokosten som har litt begrenset utvalg men det var ikke noe problem for min del.

Hôtel très bien situé, près de la 5ème avenue et de la plage de Playa Mamitas. Le personnel est très professionnel et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont typiques avec terrasses donnant sur la piscine et sur la végétation. Les matelas sont très confortables. Très bel hôtel, nous reviendrons.

The hotel was really nice. Rooms was large and clean. The courtyard with the pool in the middle was a small haven in the town. It was a really close walk to the beach and any other amenities. The only downside is the noise around the hotel: a beach club with loud music all day and a bar accross the road with loud music. The room was airconditionned so it was fine with doors closed though.

Very cute hotel definitely recommend for travelers that prefer simpler accommodations rather than larger resorts. Very convenient location to beach access, restaurants, and entertainment. Would definitely stay again.

With such an average high rating on Expedia, we were surprised to see how exactly rundown this property is. Our room, located on the ground floor, (even though we requested an even though we requested an upper level floor) was musty and aggravated my allergies overnight. Additionally, the matttresses were super hard. Interestingly, our room (number 107) was only accessible through a sliding door. This meant that you could not leave someone inside, if the other person wanted to go out, without either leaving the door unlocked so the person inside could exit in case of an emergency or locking the person in. There is a key entry from the outside and a bolt only from the inside. We had very little interaction with the staff. We arrived late in the evening about 10:30 PM and the check-in person was fine. Not super pleasant or welcoming, but just fine. The redeeming qualities of this property was that it is inexpensive, parking for us with late arrival was very easy, just one block off. We found our stay to be quiet, which is what we wanted.

El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación, tiendas de conveniencia cercanas, farmacias, restaurantes, la playa y etc. En general tiene lo necesario para estancias cortas, el personal es muy atento. El único detalle es que las toallas estaban viejitas y la regadera no cerraba bien (goteaba).

The bathroom was with mold and very dirty. The location was difficult to locate. They have taxes that you need to pay once arriving in the hotel. Around the hotel there are various bars that have music that is very loud that didn’t allow us to sleep very well that last until 3am which is a long time with high volume of sound.

Staff at check in were friendly but that was the only positive thing about the stay here. There was no shampoo in shower, and worse, no soap to wash hands after using toilet! Also crazy noisy! Loud music until 3 AM. Would never, ever stay here again.

Hola me gustó la ubicación está a una cuadra de la quinta avenida y está cerca de la playa a la altura del club de playa mamitas , y lo que no me gustó es la alberca que la sentí fría porque no le da casi el sol y no está climatizada y la otra fue la posición del clima que a una de las camas te da muy directo y te puede enfermar de lo demás excelente. Gracias

Great location, beautiful property. Only problem is if you want to sleep you need to find another place. Lots of noise until 3 in the morning. Breakfast was good and service was nice.
