We decided to get a suite, with a balcony with view of the sea. It was a Big disappointment that the room was in the 1st floor, with the «balcony» right in the beach front with all the sunbeds. It also were a lot of ants on our outdoor space, and therefore not nice to sit outside. The room was not very clean, and we had to wash the different Kitchen equipement before we used it. Also the sofa both outdoors and inside were stained. The size of the room and bathroom were good for a normal hotel room, very overpriced, and not as expected for a suite. The beds were comfortable though.

Nydelig boutiqe hotel på stranden
Vi elsket Playa Palms, nydelig atmosfære, superhyggelig betjening og topp beliggenhet💕 vi bodde Ocean front og fikk god valuta for pengene. Ikke den beste stranden, men bare et par minutters gange langs sjøen til beachcluber og restauranter😁

Sjarmerende hotell
Sjarmerende og fint hotell med god standard. Hyggelig personale og bra beliggenhet både for strand og byliv med restauranter og uteliv. Rolig område. Det som trekker ned er dårlige bademuligheter på stranden nedenfor (men ikke så langt å gå til bedre strand) og veldig enkel frokost.

Playa del carmen skuffet på ingen måte, verken stedet eller hotellet, og vi ble positivt overrasket av hotellet. største minusen som gjaldt playa og resten av hotellene langs kysten var alt sjøgresset som hadde kommet opp, dette gjorde at badingen på stranda uteble, og hele "beachhotel" opplevelsen forsvant, mens vonde lukten av sjøgresset kom opp. Litt dårlige på å anbefale ting til kunder som f.eks å ta taxi istedenfor å tukle med leie av biler og scooter etc.

This place is located in walking distance to all the night clubs and the main 5th avenue. Malls, high end restaurants lots to see and not only 5th avenue walk both side it’s beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. They can also book tours I think it was cheaper at the hotel. It has a small pool and beach. This is seaweed season. Breakfast is there for a fee which they bring it to your patio. I booked an apartment style which was furnished. Bed room was a bit small but everything was great. I would recommend!

Great value for the price. Excellent area, literally steps to 5th Avenue. Nice and quiet, quaint and private. We really enjoyed it.

Good hotel all around. I would recommend for anyone. I stayed with two teen aged granddaughters and it was clean and safe. Very pleasant.

all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The night security staff didn't speak a lot of English but they were very helpful. We arrived after 9 pm so the office was closed. The night security person showed us to our room, explained how to lock the doors and took our luggage to the room. All with minimal English. Most of the rooms have a view of the ocean. As others have said there are boats tied up in front of the hotel but in the morning they went out and we were able to swim directly in front of the hotel. There was some seaweed during our week there but it was removed everyday. As someone who has lived on the ocean the seaweed there didn't smell as much as some I've experienced. Oceans have seaweed. We loved the location of the hotel. It is very quiet and just a block from 5th Avenue and in a very walkable area. The rooms were sound proof and well designed. and the view from our balcony was amazing. We are looking forward to our next trip there.

Loved the property! There is beach with lounge chairs, but boats are on it, so don't really count on swimming. Not a big downer as there are plenty of beaches further down. Internet is complicated, we could not get it in our room, that was the only problem for us. If you decide to go for breakfast, pass on the Continental one, but there is a bakery, Carlotta's around the corner that has great croissant and cinnamon rolls.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, sehr geräumig und komfortabel.(wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße raus) Es war recht ruhig und man hat vom Innenstadt Partymeilen Lärm nachts nichts mehr gehört. Super Anbindung vom AdoBus Alterna und vom Fähranleger nach Cozumel. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden wiederkommen.

Quiet! Close enough to walk to everything but away from all the noise of the night life and foot traffic. I would choose this place again. Perfect for a couples getaway.

Lovely property. Quiet but yet close 3 blocks from the fun hussle and bustle of Ave 5. We had a unit w a side ocean view. First unit has a bit of a musty smell; second unit was perfect. Very nicely laid out; units in back of property would have limited views. Grounds and pool are beautiful. Staff was outstanding. No breakfast room but you can arrange to have breakfasts brought to your unit which was really nice. Would definitely visit again!

The room was nice enough. However, Spiral, narrow staircases, unsafe!! Many amenities listed in fact were not available. Read through and email property to ensure what you want/need is truly available. “In room coffee”-it’s not, it’s espresso cups and charged for it after first day. Pool-yes but unable to sit around it and very cold, really more for looks, it’s a court yard pool. No hot tub. Private Beach very small, other guests wake early and hold a chair all day and often not used for much of it. Not enough for all guests AND when we did get one the cushions are so flat and worn out not comfortable or relaxing at all.
