Denne penthouse er langt en av de vakreste i hele byen. Det er i en førsteklasses beliggenhet som heter MAREAZUL inne i Grand Coral-komplekset, omgitt av jungeltrær og en vakker privat strand. Beliggenheten er den perfekte blandingen fordi det er bare 5-7 minutter i en taxi eller kjøring fra handlingen, men vekk fra overfylt sentrum, vil du ikke forlate stedet.
Det har også et boblebad på taket med en fantastisk havutsikt og jungleview

Bygningen ligger bare 150 meter fra PRIVATE BEACH og 250 fra BEACH CLUB
Leiligheten har 2 soverom, 3 bad og en stor, vakker terrasse og takterrasse med boblebad
Tennisbaner, GYM, strandklubb tilgjengelig uten kostnad.
Gratis stoler og parasoller til bruk på stranden.

Hage- og bassengområdet ligger utenfor denne verden, kan ikke finne noe som dette i hele RIVIERA MAYA, jeg kan få deg til noe!
Det forvaltes direkte av eierne, så alt du trenger er lett å ordne.

Dette er virkelig en perle i Playa del Carmen, du vil aldri gå tilbake!

The Mareazul complex is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are immaculately maintained, and security is excellent. We felt completely safe letting our 12-year-old go back and forth between the pool and the condo, which was a huge plus. The oceanfront restaurant has great food (get the grilled shrimp!), the view from the condo is stunning, and the beach is truly unparalleled — the best beach I’ve ever been to.Jorge was a very responsive and thoughtful host who genuinely tried to help whenever issues came up. He even arranged for a high chair for our stay, which we really appreciated. There’s also a cooler in the condo, which was handy for bringing drinks down to the pool.That said, I’m sharing the following to inform future travelers, not to be overly harsh, as Jorge was a good host. The condo itself is in need of a refresh and appears not to have been personally checked in some time. The kitchen sink barely drains, the dishwasher handle is almost detached, and a bathroom door handle has fallen off. The couches are stained and ripped (though Jorge mentioned they are being replaced). The deck furniture has no cushions and the rattan is torn, making the deck unusable. The jacuzzi tub does not work. The hot water tank was off on arrival, several light bulbs were burned out, and the TV remotes had dead batteries. The washer and dryer barely functioned, which was difficult for a longer stay, and we had to use another unit’s machines.

We booked this property as it was listed with 3 bathrooms. One was completely used for storage, so we made the best of it. The grounds, pool, beach and staff were all great! We would stay again and any issue that came up, outside of the few small ants, was resolved. Thanks!

Ocean views from bed

Mareazul is a beautiful complex on the ocean w/ an enormous & unique pool. This apartment is one of the closest to the beach w/ amazing views from the master bedroom, living room, and multiple balconies. I moved the bed across the room (it was on wheels) to see the ocean from bed. We used the jacuzzi on the upper balcony with an ocean view (note, it's a jacuzzi tub that you fill. Not a hot tub). We ate at the main restaurant where I had an amazing fruity drink (wish I remembered the name) and a really good shrimp dish. I walked the beach to the north in front of many other resorts just past Sandos Caracol where they had great 40 60 min beach massages. I believe the beach is public so they can't stop you from you right near water. I stayed a Caracol last year so I knew about the massages. I waded to get by some eroded parts, but I was on a mission.We took excursions and the operators picked us up at the resort easily. We also walked into Playa Del Carmen before dark. We felt totally safe walking in daylight, but did cab back. I recommend La Cueva del Chango and 38th Street in general.The hosts were very helpful & had maintenance come quickly for any issues. They replaced the bedrm HVAC minisplit next day! Ignore any negative reviews unless you are extremely high maintenance & have the budget to pay 5x what this place costs. Salt air is very hard on all metal and corodes everything. This is a great value. You won’t find better for the price!

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s beautiful condo. The condo was comfortable and clean, the pool and beach were absolutely gorgeous, and we were 10 minutes by car to all of the restaurants and outdoor community in Pmaya del Carmen. We have traveled many times with our large family and all of our kids voted this as the best place we have ever amazing tacos check out Taquerios Che

Amazing location and reasonably priced!

We stayed at Jorge’s apartment for 2 nights. Myself, my boyfriend, my teen daughter, and my boyfriend’s mom. There was plenty of room for all of us! Jorge was very communicative and helpful. The apartment is located in a quiet building inside of a gated community. Hint to guests: You will go through two gates - main gate and then one specific to the resorts within the main gate. Security will need the name of the property (Mareazul) and apartment number. They will ask you each time you go in and sometimes when leaving. We had a rental car and it was super easy going in and out and parking was ample within the property. There are beach towels and chairs provided. The beach does have lounge chairs for free as well. The pool and beach were FABULOUS! The food at the restaurant closer to the beach was better than the one by the pool. We made good use of the hammocks located in the middle of the pool as well.We were there in mid-April and the weather was PERFECTION! We slept with the sliding doors open (screen doors shut) and could hear the ocean! No bugs, no humidity, no crazy noise. It was lovely!Since we had a car, I can’t speak to whether taxi’s come into the property (I assume they do). But we were a short ride to the really cute part of Fifth Avenue. We also stopped at a small spot not far from the property called La Bendeción de Dios. Little corner stall with fresh tacos and other food. We ate and stuffed ourselves - 4 ppl for USD 31!Would def come stay again!

Location was excellent and property was beautiful and well cared for. Condo was not as clean as I’d expect, many things came out of the cabinets feeling and looking dirty in the kitchen. In fact the cupboards could all have been cleaned out. The washing machine leaked. All three blenders were inoperable as were two coffee pots. The oven was also inoperable. A small convection Ninja oven was available and worked as I assume it was there to replace the one in the wall that was broken. Cooking stove top did not have instructions and took more than a moment to figure out. The condo did not come with instructions for anything like what services were available or where to take the trash. Concierge was responsive and we did get a new coffee pot and blender. However, the washer still leaked and when I asked for a second five gallon jug of water - the concierge was not responsive. Was not clear if water was supposed to be provided to us or if it was our responsibility as the place again had no instructions. Mattresses are FIRM. Also there were no additional bed linens or pillows provided. This sounds like a terrible review. Our stay was not terrible. These were minor inconveniences. However where things could improve is full instructions - something to welcome you to the condo and the community. Restaurants on the property provided delicious fresh food. We would stay on the property again. The condo could use a little love.

Amazing grounds and location

Ideal settings for a family with kids of all ages. Gigantic pool and surrounding grounds are fantastic for youngsters. Adults can enjoy a beautiful beach with all water activities. The two restaurants on site are very good with a good diversity of dishes. We all had a blast.

Excellent VRBO

This VRBO is in a very safe, clean, and inclusive condo complex. The unit was very clean and spacious. The food at both restaurants was not expected and a huge surprise. Best part, the food was excellent. Our host was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this VRBO.

Beautiful and Quiet Penthouse

The view was amazing, and the home is very practical for a family of four with two children. This is a perfect place for relaxation (spa was incredible), and the spa will do room services by reservation. The host was very easy to work with and very accommodating. We will be back.

Loved the pool, restaurants, ocean, views... The condo needs to be upgraded. They need to be running dehumidifiers to remove the smells. The roof hot tub is in poor condition.

The Good and the Bad

The Good was the location, size and cleanliness of the property. Amazing value !!!! The Bad were 1- the kitchen faucet was clogged for a few days since the plumbers took over 48 hrs to show up. 2 - The sofa in the living room was falling apart to the point that we could not sit on it. 3 - Various knobs to bathroom doors were missing. Conclusion: The property is amazing but it needs a bit of TLC.

Great resort, worn out condo

The resort was great, located on a great safe and low key beach. The pool was crazy big and nice. It offered quick access to Playa for supplies and meals. The condo on the other hand appears to poorly maintained. You can tell it was nice at one point but in very poor condition now. Everything seem to have mildew grime. The doors, closets have a lot of damage. The dishwasher handle was broken. The AC works good. The master bed was very firm and uncomfortable for me but my wife said it was tolerable. The sectional is uncomfortable and sinks in many areas. It desperately needs to be replaced. The condo didn't come with many of the standard supplies like dishwasher soap, rags and dish towels. The master showerhead was about 75% blocked by hardwater build up is most of the spray hole. We had to clean it to get a barely useable spray. The master shower had a terrible smell coming from the drain pipe. The storage area was very cluttered with no organization or shelves. Everything was just thrown everywhere including into a bathroom and shower area that prevented it from being used. The instructions we were provided told us to park in the apartment's dedicated space or any space if that was occupied. Well it was occupied by the owner's car tye entire time we were there so we took another random spot. Imagine our surprise when security came knocking on the door yelling at us to move our car. Security ultimately found a space we could use. We definitely will NOT stay here again.

Great Property For A Quiet Vacation

Overall I would recommend staying at this property. The host was very easy to work with and responded to everything promptly. Getting into the property was easy and just as host described. The property is nice with a nice pool and beach. One benefit of this property is it was very quiet. Most resorts have loud music playing all the time, so it was nice to stay somewhere quiet. Overall the condo was clean. I would have given 5 stars across the board, but there were a couple issues. The laundry room was a mess with a bunch of musty blankets and things in it. The 3rd bathroom was not useable because it was in the back of the laundry room and had a bunch of cleaning stuff and supplies in the shower and in front of the toilet and there were a few deferred maintenance items. The location was good because it was quiet, but if you want to be close to Playa Del Carmen restaurants, it wasn't ideal because the taxi's are expensive down there. Overall, I would recommend the property. It was a nice resort style condo complex and the items I had small issues with can be remedied by the host pretty easily.

Beautiful resort

Beautiful grounds, two restaurants on site. Great food. Security guards on site. Two check points to get into the complex. The pool is amazing and huge. Ocean was beautiful and so as the white powdery sand. Beach chairs & umbrellas always available. I would recommend renting a car since taxis are pricey to go to town, around $24.00usd each way. Condo is beautiful, so as the views from the balcony. Nice appliances but lacked cleanliness. Most of the appliances had a sticky film on it due to grease and not being properly cleaned. The master bedroom sheets were all stained (maybe chlorine on blue sheets). They could definitely replace some pots & pans. Bugs in the kitchen upon check in. I communicated with the host to bring us new sheets and cleaning products which he did the following day. We cleaned the refrigerator, dishwasher and the counters with windex. That alone stopped the bugs in the kitchen. We also told the host one of the sliding glass doors to the balcony didn’t lock which we felt unsafe specially during the night. He didn’t addressed it. The safe didn’t work but they did bring a key so we were able to use it. The laundry room was almost unusable since it’s packed almost to the ceiling and dirty. We felt that was a fire hazard. The condo is two units per floor, very quiet and private. The jacuzzi on the top floor is not heated. The condo could definitely use a deep cleaning and some renovation. We hope to return.

Decent stay & comfortably setting.

The apt. was super easy & great for our family to stay at Mareazul. Very limited supplies in the apt. and little communication. Overall, a great stay because we are low key guests. Clean & east access.

Estancia súper agradable

Disfrutamos muchísimo el condominio y todas sus instalaciones. La verdad tiene una muy hermosa al vista al mar y las opciones de comida en los dos restaurantes están muy buenas. Jorge estuvo muy pendiente a todas nuestras preguntas y necesidades. 100% recomiendo la estancia en este condominio.
