Casa Del Mar Bonito tilbyr Zen-lignende resplendence rett på den hvite sanden i det meksikanske Karibia. Best kept Secreto

Our group of 10 ranging in age from 5 to 65 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house, pool and courtyard, and beach are outstanding. The host recommendations for a chef and local transportation to activities were great. It was a treat to have dinner prepared several evenings so we could enjoy being together. We took trips to nearby attractions. Swimming with sea turtles at Akumal was a big hit! The home was beautiful and the environment relaxing. Perfect March getaway.

Great rental for family trip to mexico

My family had a wonderful time on our trip. The property is beautiful and the pool and private beach are amazing. The maintenance crew and housekeeper kept the house spotless our entire trip. I recommend using the private chef Alex for some of your meals, they were delightful. Great vacation for my family and would return in the future!

Amazing Trip

Casa Del Mar Bonito is just beautiful in many many ways. The property is grand, clean, exceptionally located right on the beach and everyone from Hana to Chef Alex were a "chefs kiss" to make sure our stay was not one to forget. We were a group of friends celebrating a 40th birthday and had plenty of space in the paradise of Casa Del Mar Bonito. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Great week in the Mexican Riviera

We were a group of 7 women who were celebrating a 40th birthday in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Casa Del Mar Bonito was the perfect location! It was also such a relaxing and inviting home that on several days we opted to stay and enjoy the beach and pool instead of venturing out. The hosts were fantastic with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. We were greeted by the house staff and they were great at meeting our needs and keeping the house clean. We took advantage of the services of a chef and that was a great choice; when we arrived in the evening our dinner was waiting for us and it was the perfect start to our trip. Would definitely return and also recommend this home to others.

We stayed here with another family. Four adults and five kids ages 1-6. The house was perfect for our trip. Kids loved being right on the beach and had a great time with the pool. There isn't a lot of foot traffic around the beach, so you feel like you have your own private beach space. We had Chef Daveed's crew come in and make breakfast every morning and a couple of the dinners. All of the meals were excellent. We also had Chef Alex come one night for a more fancier meal for the adults, and it was fantastic as well. We used the Kangaroo babysitting service for a couple of afternoons and evenings for the adults to go out, and our kids loved them. We had the taxi service from the nearby hotel pick us up to take us to Puerto Morelos a few times, and they were always prompt. We enjoyed walking around the town of Puerto Morelos and did a snorkling/turtle tour one afternoon in town. There isn't much that is walkable from the house, but if you want to go out and venture out elsewhere, you can easily arrange to do so. It is a great property and house for families to enjoy a beach vacation that has a lot more privacy than you would find elsewhere in the Riviera Maya. Our kids loved being able to just run out on the beach every morning and were asking if we could go back to Mexico and stay at the same house next year.

This is the most beautiful Villa we probably ever stayed in. The location! Amazinggggg. If you are looking for a place to just RELAX and be spoiled, this is it. My twins would wake up at 6 and just run out to the beach. IF it was a bit hot, they run to back and jump in the pool. Everything was perfect and the owners were super friendly and nice! We loved the staff and appreciate all their efforts to help make out stay even more perfect. Loved Mex and Loved this Home. We honestly didn't want to leave. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect in every way

We all had a magical stay at this home. We really didn't want to leave To do things because we are having so much fun just staying home. The pool is beautiful .the beach is amazing. We did several tours with the Valentine resort down the beach. They will pick you up by boat right in back of the home. We went through chef Alex and hired a casual chef, and shop for our groceries. The home is so special with so many beautiful intricate carvings and art, but not at all formal . We did outside yoga And ate every day under the Palapa on the beach. The owners, Enrique and Hanna are Attentive, helpful, and kind. I'm so grateful for this trip, as is everyone in our group. We hope to come back!!!!

Remarkable Getaway!

What an amazing and uniquely special property! We were looking for a beautiful 50th birthday retreat and we certainly found it at Casa Del Mar Bonito! Between the four couples that attended there was something for everyone. The beautiful house itself which was just magnificent, the beautifully secluded pool and the well manicured beach all were just what we were looking for and then some. Throughout the entire property the attention to detail was just amazing! The cleaning staff and groundskeepers could not have been nicer and any more helpful throughout our stay. And Enrique was fantastic to work with from start to finish. Throughout it all he was super kind, extremely accomodating and thorough. We went with Enrique's recommendation to have Chef Alex cook dinner for two of the nights and both meals were superb. What a fantastic experience! All in all we cannot say enough about our stay and are already very much looking forward to a return visit! Thank you very much Enrique!

Perfect spot!

I spent a few days at Casa Del Mar Bonito with a group of friends at the tail end of our Mexican vacation and it was absolute perfection! We wanted a place that was completely private and away from any large crowds, where we could step out the door with our toes in the sand, and this place delivered. We also loved the pool on the front side of the house, which was more shaded from the sun and provided a tranquil place to relax. Hana was great to deal with, and the super kind housekeeping and maintenance staff were efficient and attentive, while still giving us lots of privacy. We took advantage of the grocery delivery service and had a private chef cook us dinner most nights. We found that we needed a lot more ice than the fridge could make for us, but it was easy to have that delivered as well! Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing weekend adults getaway

We had a great stay at this property. The house was gorgeous & all the trim & doors were hand carved! We loved that there were enough bedrooms for each couple to have their own room/bathroom. The house was right on the beach and we were lucky enough to even see turtles nesting 1 night! We spend most of our time in the pool & loved that is was huge! We would recommend this place to anybody wanting a great vacation!

Gorgeous and Relaxing Spot!

My husband and I got married in Playa in January and had the pleasure of staying at Casa Del Mar Bonito for our wedding weekend. We had a total of 8 adults that comfortably stayed in the gorgeous villa and definitely could have accommodated a few more. Inside and out, this is a gorgeous property and communication with the owners and property manager was seamless. We were able to host a "rehearsal dinner" with about 25 people and there was more than enough space for our loved ones and chefs and servers. Everyone raved about the villa and the staff made our stay so comfortable. We didn't have to worry about anything while we were there which made what could've been a stressful weekend so much more relaxing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great time!

We stayed at Casa Del Mar Bonito from 3/5/20 to 3/9/20 and had a wonderful time. We had 10 adults in their 30s and 40s. The airport was relatively close by and arranging transport not difficult. Property is amazing with a beachfront cleared daily. We had quite a bit of wind during the weekend so it was great to hide out in the pool when it got to be too extreme to be on the beach. The gardening and flowers all over the pool area and overlooking deck were a very nice touch. Interior decor was quite interesting. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. AC worked well. The staff were great and with 10 people eating and drinking it was extremely nice to have the staff clean up dishes each morning. We hired Chef Alex for catering and he is HIGHLY recommended - great food and we are admittedly snobs for that sort of thing (our group is from NYC, SF, and DC.) For shopping we had two people with rental cars and markets are not too far away. Only slight complaints: 1 we had some issue with water pressure and the toilets. 2 some appliances and elements were a little rough around the edges but nothing major. Hosts were always available to answer any questions.

Seasoned travelers all felt this was one of our best vacations ever

9 individuals/3 generations, all w/extensive global travel experience, stayed here late Dec 2019. We have done this sort of thing before in other places (Grand Cayman, OBX in NC) and of the various experiences we've had, this was by far the best. The house itself is very nice, plenty of space, nicely decorated, amazing tile work (mosaic tile work of the sort you just don't see in private residences) w/lots of rooms and privacy but also a nice common space for everyone to hang out. It is right on the beach as the photos show and it's hard to overstate how nice and private the beach space is. No one else but you will be on the beach in front of the house, so you don't have to have someone out there early to claim your patch of sand for the day. It's all yours whenever you want it & the built in shade of the covered hammock platform and the permanent thatched structures on the right mean never having to hassle with dragging out chairs and setting up umbrellas and the like. What really makes this place special. however, is Betty and her teammates who keep the place running like a well oiled machine. Betty is a tireless presence who will make sure you never have to do dishes, or wipe down a counter or do anything but enjoy your time. I do a lot of dishes at home and part of the idea of a vacation for me is to get away from daily chores - Betty makes that possible. The owners were lovely to work with, very very responsive to any questions both before and during our stay and they couldn't have done anything better or different as far as we were concerned. Top notch all around. But to really make this a vacation of a lifetime, I can't recommend enough engaging the services of Chef Alex. He and his partner Nancy cooked dinner for us each of the 7 nights and also did spot grocery shopping when we began to run low on items. Alex has worked in Michelin starred restaurants in the US and it shows both in the creativity of the meals as well as the quality of the presentation. It was like fine dining every night but at the kitchen table and sometimes while still in a swimsuit. We all live in a major US cities w/numerous award winning restaurants and so we have a pretty good sense of what is a fancy meal. These were fantastic meals. And bonus was that the leftovers became lunch the next day. Between his cooking and Betty's assistance, as well as the amazing location of the property, this is one of the few trips that we will actually repeat!

Wonderful home and experience

The house was amazing. The description does not do justice to how lovely the home is. It was like being in a movie. We were amazed when we walked in, we kept discovering new things in each room. The artwork, furnishings, detail in tilework, kitchen, pool, bathrooms and beach all exceeded our expectations. There were 6 of us staying at the house and it could have accommodated many more of us. The bedrooms were all separated, so there was privacy for each person. If there were several families there would have been plenty of privacy for all. The people taking care of the house were kind and unobtrusive, the beach had some seaweed but they attempted to get it all out of the way each morning. Communication with the owners before our stay was very good. they were very helpful. We utilized the chef service, it was a real treat to have someone come in and make meals. The food and service was outstanding. The same people came each day, they were very nice and made some special requests for us. They brought whatever groceries that we requested as well. Most days we relaxed in the house and at the beach. We took a few excursions on different days with a company (My Quest Concierge). We went to several cenotes, used jetskis and went to an underground river to snorkel. Very highly recommended, it was good to break up the week a bit. Overall, it was a truly special place to visit and spend time. Every single person in the family enjoyed it and can't wait to return.

This is a nice house. It's a little tired and looks like it's been used as a rental for quite a while. But it had pretty much everything we needed. The pool was good, and away from the wind, which blew most of the time. We had a family of 6 for six nights. The house could take 4 or 5 couples for a serious party, and is more or less indestructible. We used the chef services. The food was excellent, although after a while everything tasted very similar. It would be good to have more variety in sauces and modes of preparation. Maybe we didn't order the right things. Puerto Del Carmen is a typical small Mexican city, worthy of an afternoon visit. We scuba dove and snorkeled the cenote called Dos Ojos. Crowded with murky water. The other cenotes may be better. The beach at the house is good for kids and adults. Warm water, and they clean up the seaweed. All in all we had a good time.

Beautiful location! We will come again!

We loved our week at Casa Del Mar Bonito! We have vacationed many times between Cancún and Playa del Carmen and this was by far the most beautiful stretch of beach we have ever experienced! The house was spacious and suited our needs perfectly. I would have rated this 5 stars except the kitchen needs some updating . Some of the appliances did not work properly which made meal preparation challenging. But overall a wonderful experience! We would love to come again!

We had a wonderful week! The house staff was very attentive and helpful in every way. We had Chef Daveed cook our meals which I would highly recommend. Overall, would definitely go back.

A hidden Gem in the Maya Riviera

We have rented houses up and down the Maya Riviera over the years, and by far, Casa Del Mar Bonito is simply the best. The property has its own private beach with palapas and crystal clear sea. The back area, has a heated pool with its own garden private area for evening relaxation. The rooms are ample with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The master bedroom has an incredible view of the beach. The staff is very friendly and at your service all the time. We would definitely come back and rent the place on our next trip to Maya Rivera!

Magnificent

The villa is majestic in scale, with large spaces and soaring ceilings. It is beautifully ornamented, with extraordinarily fine stonework, mosaics, abundant statuary, and woodcarving. The staff was unobtrusive but diligent. The beach and pool are perfect. Well-equipped kitchen. Good security, air-conditioning, wifi. A delightful stay for a party of nine people and four generations.

Great Family Vacation

This house is even better than the pictures. The location is convenient, only a 1/2 hr from the airport and 10 min from Puerto Morelos. It's very private and secluded on a large lot with tropical flowers and coconut palms and plenty of birds and resident Iguanas. The beach is beautiful, soft white sand and warm aquamarine water. On a couple of windy days there was Sargassum that came ashore but the staff did there best to clean it. The house is like a small, private luxury hotel. Amazing Travertine, Marble, Mosaic Tile and hand carved tropical mahogany woodwork are everywhere. And all done in a very tasteful Mayan motif. The pool is wonderfully refreshing and the large palapa is so comfortably cool on a hot day. The staff was non-intrusive but very responsive to any issues we had and did a great job of cleaning every day. We did use the Chef Service on 3 occasions, two were absolutely delicious and one was disappointing. There were 10 of us, all adult family members and we had a wonderful time. This house was perfect for us to relax and enjoy each others company in a comfortable, beautiful setting. And yes, we'd love to return sometime.

Amazing!

What a great home! If you are searching for a great home in this area, this is the one. We stayed a week in April 2018 - 6 adults, 3 children (9,9 and 5). It was perfect. My #1 desire is a great beach - no rocks, easy access for kids. This has it. Best location on the beach, no rocks at all. Perfect for body surfing and kyacking at low tide. Spent the mornings in the ocean and the afternoon in the pool. Pool is great - nice and big and uniform depth of 4 feet or so. Great shade and privacy areas. Interior of the house is as pictured, with excellent rooms and a very large living space. We brought in a chef every night for dinner - best part of the vacation - strongly suggest you research Chef Daveed chef service in this area. It was the greatest money spent! Enjoyed appetizers on the deck facing the ocean, and then moved inside for a great dinner/dessert each night. I would highly recomend this house for anyone looking for a great beach/pool combo. If I have any criticism, it would be that some aspects of the home are showing a bit of wear ... e.g., some peeling paint in various rooms, some of the appliances (dishwasher, freezer) are a bit damaged, but all in all, nothing that would effect the trip. highly recommend this property! Enrique was easy to work with and answered any questions that came up.
