Little Gasparilla Island is an island you can only access by BOAT. There are NO car ferries or bridges to drive your vehicle across. Hop in your 24’ boat (including the motor, max boat size) and head over to your numbered dock. Then walk or rent a golf cart and go to your vacation rental. Once you unpack and drop off your groceries, you can walk just a few steps further to the uncrowded almost private beach for unforgettable sunsets and shells and beautiful snorkeling water! Take a long walk on the LGI beach. Bring your dog on a leash, and walk them along the gulf waters. Access into the gulf is less than 10 minutes for unparalleled fishing in Charlotte County waters. Snapper, Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, and so much more are waiting for you in these waters. World Class Tarpon Fishing is right outside your door by Boca Grande.

Come home and relax to our newly renovated coastal charmer. The home has a beautiful large kitchen ready to entertain. The living room/dining room combo invites you in as you sit back and listen to music or have the Frame TV on. 2 bedrooms with new queen beds, 1 remodeled bathroom with a shower/tub combo with a floating vanity. Connect your phone to the bluetooth exhaust and hear music throughout the house. Kitchen is large and updated with quartz countertops, turtle green backsplash with an ice machine!! The kitchen is a chefs dream with Paris Hilton’s PINK kitchen accessory line. It makes dining fun.

STARLINK internet is included, so you are still connected to the real world and all of your streaming services await for you to login and enjoy your comforts of home.

Steps away from the beach and water. Hear the ocean waves crash while hanging out under the enclosed patio. Pack your cooler and head down to the beach and enjoy all that this island has to offer you!

Other amenities include: AC, WIFI, linens, washer and dryer, blender, crockpot, air fryer, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, ice machine, hair dryer, ironing board, toilet paper, paper towels, dishes and utensils provided. Trash service is included. No Smoking.

ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY private boat or water taxi. Plan ahead and bring your groceries.

PARKING and ARRIVAL Eldred's Marina:
Park your car and launch your boat here, or jump aboard Pirate’s Water Taxi for a 9 minute ride to LGI. Eldred's Marina is located at 6301 Boca Grande Causeway Placida, Florida 33946 (NOTE: The marina is right before the toll booth) You will enter the first bait shop to buy a parking pass (approximately $8.00 per day) to put on your dash. The water taxi picks you up on the dock by the gazebo where you can unload your belongings and load them on the taxi.

WATER TAXI: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
The local water taxi service is provided by Pirate Water Taxi, with either Emmett or Bill as your captain. You will need to call well before your arrival date to make arrangements for your arrival and departure.

The taxi is available every day 8:30-5:00 hours and always requires a reservation but will run later or earlier by request for an additional charge. It is best to contact them about two weeks in advance, especially if you need to travel very early, after dark, or on a holiday. The average cost for the water taxi is $30/for 2 people and then $15 per person after that (subject to change) each way but be sure to verify this as prices sometimes change depending on the time of day you need to cross.

Make sure you tell him that you are coming to Dock #26 . You can arrange the island concierge, Bret (941-223-4548), to help get your belongings to the purple house. IT IS CRUCIAL THAT YOU SCHEDULE THE TAXI IN ADVANCE.

Want someone to bring your groceries ahead of time? Want to book a boat tour? Kayak?

The island has the option of an upon-arrival or mid-stay grocery delivery service. Have your groceries delivered on the day you arrive or send the shoppers to the mainland for additional groceries or things you might have forgotten.

There are golf carts available to rent on LGI. It is best to make a reservation well in advance, Carts are available for rental through LGI CARTS 941-697-3820 or Paradise Cart Rentals 941-681-0290.

Golf carts often sell out early, but please note if carts are sold out that golf carts are not necessary. You can walk from the bay to the beach in less than 5 minutes. You can also schedule an island cart tour from the island concierge or your host.
