«First, we visited the cabin in February when there was a bunch of snow on ground with more falling. This was a trip with our puppy (his first trip). He loved playing in the snow and the property had a nice loop around the back that was easy to take him for a walk without having to go somewhere. While there are neighbors in site, they are far enough away that you can walk a dog without them being distracted by neighbors. The cabin had everything you need for a visit and then some. «Great place to disconnect, especially if you have Verizon!! Nice spot to swim at the end of the road. Just needs some trails built into the 40 acres so you can explore it more easily. We stayed with our 4 kids, ages 11-17, they all had a blast and got off their electronics. Generator was easy to use for first timers so no worries there either.»

«Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!»

«We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. «Lovely stay at Henckley Reservoir. Emily & Kim(s) gave nice attention to detail like the waters and snacks available for excursions. We rented a pontoon boat and Andre was a great captain showing us around the lake first. Loved having a clean private beach to ourselves and the paddleboards and kayaks were easy to use. The view afternoon and evening was lovely including the loons. Thank you so much! Cabin was very comfortable and clean and up to date.»

«We rented the house for our Thanksgiving and had a great time. It was the perfect quiet spot to spend time with family. There were plenty of things to see on our walks and my son had a great time playing on the frozen shore of the lake. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a quiet place to get away together!»
