Come for the game, stay for the game room: you're about 10 minutes from Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park, and back at the house a full pool table, ping pong, and a Golden Tee arcade are waiting. The kids and the dog (yes, it's dog friendly) take over the fenced backyard while the adults pull up to the gas fire pit. Two king bedrooms, a queen, a bunk loft and 2.5 baths fill this renovated row house in Troy Hill, with off-street parking out back.
THE SPACE
Start in the backyard, because that's where this house is different. It's fully fenced, so dogs and kids can roam without a second thought, with playground mulch underfoot and a gas fire pit ringed by Adirondack chairs. Light it after dinner, pull the gas grill over, and the evening takes care of itself.
The main floor is built around one idea: everyone together, doing different things. The living room becomes a real movie room. Close the curtains, sink into the recliners, and flip on the smart TV under the glow of "The Burgh" sign. It opens straight into the game room, where the real headline of this house lives: a 3-in-1 table that goes from family dinner to a full pool table to a ping pong match without anyone leaving the room. A Golden Tee arcade machine sits in the corner, an electric fireplace keeps things warm, and the "Welcome, Yinz" neon sign leaves no doubt where you are. The kitchen is fully renovated with a center island, stainless steel appliances, a gas range, and a coffee bar with drip, Keurig, and tea, plus a breakfast nook for slower mornings. A half bath rounds out the floor.
Upstairs, two king bedrooms each come with room-darkening shades and a Roku smart TV in guest mode; one has a quiet reading nook by the window. They share a full bathroom with a bathtub and a separate standing shower, a rare combo in a Pittsburgh row house this age.
The third floor is where the kids take over: an open loft with a full-over-full bunk bed, a desk for remote work, and a play corner stocked with books and toys. Down the hall, a queen bedroom looks out across the Allegheny River, with the third-floor full bathroom right next door.
WHO IT'S BEST FOR
Game-day crews: park at the house and be at Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, or PPG Paints Arena in under 10 minutes, then keep the rivalry going in the game room.
Family reunions and multi-generational trips: two kings, a queen, and a bunk loft sleep everyone without an air mattress, and the fenced backyard gives kids room to run while the adults take the fire pit.
Friend groups who actually want to hang out: pool table, ping pong, and arcade turn a quiet Friday into a tournament, no plans required.
Dog owners: bring up to two dogs. The fenced backyard means nobody gets left behind.
Work trips and campus visits: a third-floor desk, Verizon Fios internet, and a free washer and dryer, with Pitt and Duquesne about 10 minutes away.

GETTING IN
Self check-in is by smart lock. Your 4-digit code arrives in your Vrbo messages 3 days before arrival and again 8 hours out, and works on the front, back, and basement doors. Guest ID verification is required before check-in details are sent. The entire home is yours, all three floors plus the basement laundry, except one locked owner's closet. It's a classic Pittsburgh row house: expect stairs at the entry, from the parking pad, and between floors, including steep basement stairs with a low ceiling. Handrails are on every staircase, and there's a half bath on the main floor.
