We arrived in a snow storm at 11pm New Years Eve. The lobby had a party in it. There were lots of kids throughout the hotel. Maybe it’s a thing to do on New Years Eve. I have never experienced so many kids running around the halls, stairwells and pool areas. We did have to have our room changed as there was loud music coming from other rooms on the floor. The next room wasn’t much better but by that time it was after 1am and we just put a sound machine on and passed out. The next day more loud noise with doors banging and kids running about. The pool area was packed. We did get later check out and was able to go to the pool and hot tube for 45 min before check out. The temp of pool is excellent. More high end hotels have pools that are freezing. The hot tub was great. The front desk clerk named Kat was amazing the night before. She was handling a lot of chaos with other patrons, the party and tired kids running about but she did great. I will try this place again on a non-holiday. It’s definitely family friendly which is fantastic for those in that phase of life. We didn’t get to try the breakfast but there are a lot of food options 5 minutes away so got Panera instead. Then had great Indian at Tamarind down the road for lunch. This is a perfect location between the turnpike and I-79.
