I wouldn’t stay here again. Room was old, had a SLOW moving tub and was very run down. Breakfast not included. ALOT of vagrants roaming the property outside and one came in the lobby this morning and it took the front desk a very long time to react. Staff seemed overwhelmed and overworked so it was always a hassle for them to respond to simple things like an extra pillow (our room was short on pillows and sheets for the pull out couch). No parking available (parking in the hotel was full) so the front desk provided an overflow lot option but for only 1 night. When asked what I could do for my second night of stay the front desk said if parking is still unavailable on the property you can use the over flow lot again and get your ticket validated. When I went to get the 2nd night validated they gave me a hard time. Only 2 of the elevators worked when I stayed there (last week of May 2024) so you will WAIT for a while practically half your trip waiting for an elevator). Sheets were dirty and we found a half eaten sandwich in the pull out couch. GROSS. For the money stay down the street at the Marriot or spend a few extra bucks for something closer to more restaurants and downtown as this property is on “the edge of downtown”. Will never stay here at this property again. Felt very nickel and dimes with no care for basic guest service. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Went for my husbands 40th to catch a game. The hotel staff was very kind, the room was super clean, and the location was perfect. Walking distance to everything.

Right next to PPG arena and can walk all downtown. Pretty good hotel with a restaurant, indoor pool, and bar all seemed clean. Somewhat dated rooms with noisy traffic but that’s a location problem that comes with the good as well.

The property is conveniently located. They don't have bellman to assist with luggage, nor was there a luggage cart available for use.

The location is accessible to major roads. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and specious but the bed was very uncomfortable.

Parking is very expensive and inconvenient. Very cramped quarters. No microwave and dinky coffee pot didn’t work. Pulled out the couch bed and found dirty towels underneath. It took the front desk 10 minutes after keeping me on hold to send up linens. Stains in carpets throughout the hotel. Very stuffy with not so nice smell and terrible views.

The property is in a wonderful location especially if you are going to an event or game at PPG paints. I wish we had known the parking was valet only so we could've parked somewhere cheaper nearby. The lobby was beautiful and clean, and the front desk staff were generally super nice. The rooms are pretty worn down and definitely could use some updates and cleaning. My main complaint was the elevator situation. They have 4 elevators and only 1 was operational for the duration of our stay. With so many sports teams staying here there was a constant wait for the elevator. We didn't go to the restaurant but it seemed very nice. We enjoyed the pool but it was quite old and the ceiling kept dripping on our heads. It wasn't horrible but there's better options in the area for sure.

the look, the atmosphere was nice. but there were issues with the elevators the whole time we were there. the couch in our original room was a known issue, and still we were placed in that room, and then had to be switched, to a room with a huge stain on the wall outside the room. views from the 4th floor were terrible, but we weren't there for that and going up anymore floors would have been even more of an issue with the elevators I'm sure

This was a perfectly fine place to stay, but a bit expensive for what it is. The property is a bit run down, but the rooms are clean. There isn’t much to do within walking distance of the building, so plan on driving if you want to get anywhere interesting. The valet service is nice, but plan on shelling out almost $40 a night if you want to park on-site.

The room is average. I have stayed in nicer accommodations for less. The bathroom is on the smaller side. However it does come with a walk in closet for extended stays. Its only an 8 minute walk to the PPG Arena.

As previously rated, the washroom door was broken, wouldn't close properly and noisy. Only 2 bottles of water for 3 guests booked. The pool was not opened as stated time. The parking for guest had no discount. The window blinds cannot be closed nor the curtains.

We came to watch a hockey game, so the location of the property was very convenient. When we visit Pittsburgh, we also like to visit the northside and the hotel is literally across the street from the steel Plaza station light rail to get to the north side, and it’s only three stops away.

I was very appreciative of the attention, helpfulness and overall friendliness of the the folks at the front desk. The room was large, clean, comfortable and I could even customize the temperature. The waiters/waitress in the cafe were also friendly and helpful. Its a nice hotel in good spot and I expect to return again sometime soon.
