«A delightful little house on the edge of an estate where the beautiful big house is used as a wedding venue. The property is fairly spartan but the kitchen is well equipped, although there were a few repairs needed. We were very comfortable and pleased to have discovered the Old Dairy!»

«Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake! «Beautiful cottage with a fabulous fireplace, a must for a winter break. The setting on a working farm was just lovely and the children were treated to a visit to the lambs, calves and ducklings. The hosts were so helpful. Would love to return. Thank you»

«Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area. We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little .»

«This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. We made day trips to the Haynes motor museum (amazing if you are a car buff…..some days they bring cars out of the museum and you can ‘poke around’ at them) and to Lyme Regis, which has ...

«The house was ideal. It was spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a quiet spot but within easy travelling of the various sites and towns nearby. Rarely had to travel more than 30 minutes. There is a garden which was ideal for sitting in though the weather was mixed. Would like to be there in a sunny spell.»
