The Space:

The House offers comfortable accommodations for up to 8 guests. The four bedrooms are designed for relaxation and privacy: Bedroom 1 features a luxurious King Bed, Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 each offer a Queen Bed, and Bedroom 4 provides a Full Size Bed. The cozy living room is equipped with a smart TV and Wi-Fi for entertainment. The chef's kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for group cooking and dining. Enjoy the comfort of air conditioning and blackout blinds in the king and queen bedrooms. Outside, the property boasts an outdoor swim-spa/hot tub, perfect for year-round relaxation. An expansive outdoor area with a patio and deck overlooks the river, offering stunning sunset views. Guests also have exclusive private waterfront access for kayaking, fishing, or enjoying a peaceful morning coffee. Self-check-in and ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles add to the convenience.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire house, including four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. Enjoy the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Outside, you can relax in the garden, backyard, and on the patio. The private pool and hot tub are also available for your enjoyment. Please note that the attic and garage are not accessible to guests.



The Neighborhood:

Explore the charming neighborhood of Phoenix, a completely walkable historic village nestled on the Oswego River, part of the Erie Canal system. Witness the boats navigate Lock 1, the first lock towards Lake Ontario, just a short stroll from the house. Our property is conveniently located on the river side of State Street, only five houses from the village center. You'll find a variety of amenities within easy reach, including a bakery, the popular Larkin's diner, a cozy coffee shop, Duskees bar-restaurant, Cam's pizza, an ice cream shop, a hair salon, and a convenience store-gas station. Several churches and the Lock 1 Distillery are also nearby. During the summer, enjoy outdoor concerts and events, adding to the village's vibrant atmosphere.



Getting Around:

Getting around Phoenix is easiest by car, as the area is car-dependent. The Village of Phoenix itself is walkable, allowing you to explore local shops and amenities on foot. Public transportation options are limited. However, during the New York State Fair in August and September, bus services are available from the Village to the fairgrounds.

Other Things to Note:

Riverfront Safety: Please be aware that the backyard extends beyond the final gate and leads directly to the Oswego riverfront. The Shark Shack (5th bedroom) and firepit are located past the fenced portion of the yard. If you're traveling with children or pets, they must be supervised at all times in the outdoor spaces and around water.



Pet Parents: We love pets! Please review our Pet Policy in the House Rules before booking. Dogs should not be left alone unless crated—for everyone’s safety, including your pet’s. You’re welcome to have a pet sitter stay with them while you’re out. Check out “Rover” for local sitters, or ask us in advance—we’re happy to help with arrangements!
