- A long-term tenant lives on-site in a completely separate unit and may be present during your stay
- There is an optional pool/spa heat fee of $275/night (+ fees & taxes, paid pre-trip, applied to entire stay, spa heating is included as part of the pool heat fee as they are attached). Pool/spa heat must be requested at least 72 hours prior to stay for the pool and/or spa to be heated for your stay
- Please be aware that this is a mountainous area, and there can sometimes be critters, especially bees and other bugs. Bees may be present around the pool area by nature, as they are attracted to water sources. The homeowners have tried to create ways to repel the bees away but cannot confirm they will 100% not be present

The house had many issues during our stay, though cleanliness was not one of them. While we stayed, we only had 3 working toilets and one was outdoors. The showers had very little to no pressure which made showering difficult. They had just replaced the thermostats when we arrived so the house was hot and condensation to cool the house down had caused a rather large leak prior to our arrival. The house remained hot for 2 days and the refrigerators didn’t reach appropriate temperature for over 24 hours. We had to put milk in the freezer to prevent it from curdling. There were grounds people that came to treat the pool in the mornings. Communication prior to our arrival was non existent. I had reached out a few times and asked about kitchen appliances and plates, etc, and received no answer back. The house had no directions for how to turn on lights, water features, etc and a binder with information would have been very helpful. In trying to communicate the issues going on, the property contact made the issues seem like they were faults of ours when they occurred due to past stays or maintenance. We also had a package delivered that got taken from inside the gates of the house on our porch. I think a lot of bad luck things happened during our stay, which is fine, but the way they were handled was not. Other than that, the pool is great! There are Games and a karaoke machine. The grounds gets hot outside so bring pool shoes! We didn’t get to use the gym but it looks nice.

Most unusual property

This property is located in farm/ranch area with a backyard facing a beautiful desert mountain and enough elevation for panoramic view of east Phoenix from the front/sides. Pictures are correct but do not show the complex layout of the property and rooms. First day was a struggle...we could not find the 5th bedroom for a couple of hours and assumed it was the locked separate building next door. One bedroom is the main corridor between the kitchen and the game room/back yard. Some fans did not work and the one toilette on the main (kitchen/game room) floor did not work. The kitchen area was about 15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. Host sent someone out morning of second day to unclogg the toilette but that did not work. However, ?Dominic? was a huge help showing us how everything worked (pool was controlled by an Ipad) and put a high powered fan to blow the cold air from game room into kitchen area. Once we figured it all out, the next two days were great. Pool was a little dirty and spa had no heat but no one seemed to mind. I recommend the home but I also recommend someone meeting you the first hour of arrival to show you all the "hidden" rooms, the 3 thermostats (set at 82-84 deg when we arrived) and how to control the pool.

Fantastic place

Beautiful property! The house was well equipped for our needs and the host was responsive to inquiries during our stay. We enjoyed using the pool to cool off as we visited in June and the weather was HOT! The house stayed cool and the pool didn’t require heating and it was still comfortable swimming temperature. The scenic views were amazing!

Falling apart and ice pool

We booked this home for our family thinking it would be an epic vacation. It immediately turned into a epic disaster and disappointment. The house is falling apart. The front steps are rotten and wobbly. The pool was filthy, green and had debris in it upon arrival. The pool heating system does NOT work. It used a tank of propane and didnt heat anything even once. The hot tub was ice cold. I contacted two pool companies that both stated a propane system is inadequate for this size of pool/hot tub and water features. The kitchen was has a shattered cooktop, broken ice and water dispenser and the cabinets were full of crumbs. There were used Qtips in one rooms coffee area in the sugar packet caddy. The washer barely turned 4 towels at a time and the dryer needs a heating element. There was a sunken bed in the downstairs and delaminated furniture with broken drawers throughout. We arrived to broken outdoor lighting, bees everywhere by the pool and beer cans strewn about. I was treated terribly by the contact person and only some concerns addressed during the stay. The entire home had unfinished project areas, spackle unpainted, trim missing, screws sticking up all over the floors instead of replacement. The kicker was the various staff coming and going into the gated, main house pool area without notice or knocking!!! Zero privacy and a poor set up. They even left a door open overnight.
