Welcome to "Bali in the Desert"! This incredible vacation rental features one of the most stunning backyards in Scottsdale - a vacationer's own private island in the desert! The yard features a heated pool, a 9-hole mini golf course, yard games, and plenty of space for entertaining. The home features an open-concept living area, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a vanity room! This one-of-a-kind rental sits on an oversized lot in central Scottsdale, 5 mins from Old Town. Bali, Indonesia is one of the most unique and beautiful places to visit in the world! If you’ve been dreaming of making a trip to Bali or any other tropical oasis, you’ve found the perfect spot! This home’s unique décor is inspired by the gorgeous culture, colors, and tropical lifestyle of Bali, and set up to feel like your own private island!

This vacation rental is nestled in the back corner of a private cul-de-sac, just a five-minute drive from Old Town Scottsdale. Soak up the sun in the gigantic, beautiful & private backyard during the day, or relax and enjoy the yard games while admiring a breathtaking view of Camelback Mountain! This amazing backyard features a large pool, next to the deck where you can sit back and chill in our beach loungers or on the daybed complete with a canopy. Play a round of 9-hole mini golf (golf balls and putters/chippers provided) corn hole, giant Jenga, or ping-pong when you want a break from floating in the pool! The backyard also features a large, custom-built pergola with an outdoor TV, outdoor dining table, and grill with propane provided. Rinse off in the outdoor shower when you’re done swimming, and head out front to a “secret garden” area with a fire pit and chairs to dry off!

Inside this Scottsdale home, you’ll find an open concept living area. Upon entering, you’ll encounter the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Just past the dining room you’ll find French doors leading to the backyard. The living room features a comfortable and large sectional and a smart TV with live-streamed cable (YouTube TV), Netflix, Amazon prime, and more. The kitchen is fully stocked so that you can prepare meals at home if desired, including a Keurig coffee maker (coffee provided) to jump-start each morning.

Just past the dining area and across from the French doors that lead to the backyard, you’ll find a large bathroom with two shower heads. If you head down the hallway off the living room, you’ll find four bedrooms, two more bathrooms, and a vanity room! The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, a large walk-in closet, a smart TV, French doors that lead to the backyard, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed to accommodate two additional guests. The third bedroom features two queen sized beds to accommodate four additional guests. There is a hall bathroom across from these two bedrooms, featuring a shower with an attached tub. The fourth bedroom features two full-sized beds to accommodate up to 4 additional guests. Besides the mirrors in the bedrooms, we also have a gorgeous vanity room complete with ring lights and a full-length mirror, so that large groups have plenty of room to get ready for a night out on the town!

Guest access:
Guests will access the home via self check-in using a custom code on the front door keypad. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, and just five minutes away from Scottsdale's main attractions in Old Town - restaurants, bars, hiking, golfing, clubs, and shopping! Uber/Lyft will pick up within 5-10 minutes of submitting a request. The home is approximately 15-20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.


Other things to note:
Please note that there is a Ring doorbell security camera, and two security cameras that view each of the side gates that lead to the backyard. These features are for guest safety and security. There are no cameras or recording devices inside of the home or in the backyard.


*Disclosure Regarding Pool Heat*
Before requesting pool heat, please be advised of the following:

We cannot make the pool into a hot tub! The maximum temperature we heat the pools to is 85 degrees. Please also be advised that in the winter months when the overnight temperature drops below 50 degrees, the pool heaters will simply shut off to avoid mechanical damage to the heat pump system due to the ice that will form otherwise on the internal coils. The heaters will turn back on automatically when the temperature outside goes back up/when the ice that was forming to cause the shut off melts, but this means that we cannot promise the pool will stay heated to our normal of 85 degrees. Even with the cooler temperatures, the pool heaters do tend to keep the pools within 5 degrees of the desired temperature. This turning on and off the heater is very expensive for the homeowners, hence the pool heating charge. Therefore, please note we will NOT be able to refund the pool heating charge if you feel the pool did not stay warm enough during your stay. The pools have been heating up to 75-85 degrees, which is 35-45 degrees higher than the outdoor temperature.
