You will receive the access details a few days before your arrival, once you complete a quick ID and card verification via our Guest App - similar to hotel check-in — to ensure safety and peace of mind for all. A $750 security hold (required by our insurer) is placed and automatically released after your stay once house rules are confirmed and no damage is noted.
You can access all parts of the house except the garage which is used for the owner's storage purposes. Also, the upstairs spa bath is not available for use. The portable air conditioner is located inside the wardrobe, on the top shelf to the right

No refunds are given for incorrect booking details, including wrong guest numbers or undeclared pets.
Pets are permitted only with the Manager's prior written approval. Dogs are generally accepted at designated pet-friendly properties, subject to the applicable pet fee and these House Rules. Cats and any other animals require specific written approval before arrival and may be declined at the Manager's discretion. Approval of one type of pet does not constitute approval of any other animal. $150 per pet per stay.
Guests travelling with pets must ensure that pets remain off beds and upholstered furniture, are appropriately supervised, and do not cause damage to the property. Cats must use a suitable litter tray at all times. Guests are responsible for any additional cleaning or damage caused by their pets.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest app. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, and you are welcome to block out some numbers, but please note that our Guest App has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
Security Hold / Damage Protection
- Guests are required to complete a quick ID verification prior to arrival. A $750 security hold is placed and released after departure once the property has been checked.
- The security deposit or security hold is not a limit of the Guest's liability. Guests remain fully responsible for the full cost of repairing or replacing any damage, specialist cleaning, odour remediation, pest treatment, replacement of furnishings, loss of income or any other losses arising from their stay, regardless of whether those costs exceed the amount of the security deposit.
- Security deposits are determined according to the nature and duration of the booking. Extended stays, insurance accommodation and other higher-risk bookings may require a higher security deposit to reflect the increased occupancy period and potential impact on the property. The required security deposit will be advised before arrival.
We’re happy to consider early check-in and late check-out requests, though these options are subject to availability and not guaranteed. Our cleaners charge a fee $50 per hour for this service. For guaranteed early access, we recommend booking the night prior to arrival. This offers peace of mind and a smooth, stress-free start to your stay. Please note that the check-in time during school holidays.

Our home is set in a beautiful natural waterfront environment. From time to time you may see local wildlife — and occasionally insects, particularly if doors or windows are left open. The property is professionally treated, but being close to nature is part of its charm.

Base pricing includes up to 4 guests. The home can accommodate up to 5 guests, with an additional per person, per night fee applied for larger groups. Please ensure your booking reflects the correct number of guests for accurate pricing.
