En hyggelig opplevelse.
Salutation var en hyggelig opplevelse. Fint hotell meget sentralt beliggende i byen. I Perth hadde jeg de hyggeligste matopplevelsene på de 14 dagene jeg var i Skottland - men det kan ha vært tilfeldig. Hyggelig hotellbar med god atmosfære, før man gikk til sengs. God frokost og hyggelig betjening.

Flott lite hotel
Litt harde madrasser. Slitent men veldig sjarmerende hotel. God frokost med vennlig personal. Veldig bra beliggenhet med parkering rett ved. Lite støy selv om vi er sentrumsnær.

no just do not go here.
when I arrived early to the hotel I was told to wait 10 min that turned in to 30 minutes. When the manager showed up he helped the newly arrived man instead of me that had bin waiting 30 min. Then when I whanted to leave my luggage I had to pay extra 20 pounds for them to store it. I got back and logged my bag up fire flights of nerve stars. My room was stuffy, the door to the bathroom had a rusted hole in it and the shower currents did not actually cover the showers. When I asked about the wi-fi the receptionist did not answer me.

The Salutation Hotel is so convenient for the city of Perth. So close to everything. They served a wonderful full Scottish breakfast in the morning. It is a lovely history hotel.

There was an intense sound of Drilling up until Midnight and it started again at 07:30 in the morning and this was a Sat - Sun. I did report the issue and I'm sure hotel staff will have it addressed if possible.

It’s a lovely hotel. As it is a very old building it doesn’t look much from the outside but inside it was nice. It could do with a bit of a makeover. I can only speak for the room I was in. Maybe new curtains and some up to date furniture. Other than that it was very clean. All staff that I seen were lovely. I did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on food. Overall I had a good experience.

Has clearly had an illustrious history, but now needs a lot more renovation. This has started in some areas, but there is a lot of work still to be done in many rooms. The strangest thing is a very unpleasant smell on the first floor, outside the kitchens, a mixture of cleaning fluids and fish. The breakfast was very good and the location is very central for Perth.

Thanks for posting in a few lines. The hotel has enjoyed more than 300 years of history. Every year we try and refurbish different parts of the hotel including bedrooms and public areas. I am pleased you enjoyed the breakfast and found the hotels location ideal. We will certainly look into the ventilation of the kitchen area.Many thanksTeam Sally

Great location for the Perth Concert Hall: 6 minutes canny walk on the flat. 2 minutes walk from the closest car park. The room I had was large and bright, comfy bed and lovely shower and snacking extras.

a good average hotel.
An average hotel that's well placed on the main street in Perth so good access to amenities. Breakfast was cold unfortunately most of the time. Don't know what other food is like as ate out in the evenings.

30 year Hitch
Stayed 2 nights for a wedding at the hotel, all went smoothly. The hotel is dated due to the ave od tbe building but all very in keeping an dlots of character. We had a double room which was lovely. Very clean and brand new bathroom. The corridors maybe need a greshen up but the hotel is massive. The staff were all very friendly and the buffet breakfast was lovely.
