«It took us (9 people? a long time to get to Lake Como due to the significant delays with our trains. We were exhausted by 5pm when we finally arrived at Varenna station. Thanks to the timely and useful information provided by Claudia, we were able to get on the van run by Monica right away and get to the property with ease. «We loved this lovely apartment. It was very clean with all the amenities. The views were breathtaking! There was a heat wave while we were there and the air conditioning was such a welcomed relief. Carla our host was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a car and were able to park on premises. It is a hike down to Varenna and if you drive the road is very narrow with many sharp turns but so worth it !»

«It’s an old property with stairs and no way to carry your luggage but by lifting yourself. It’s okay we are hikers and able to carry our luggage but people with heart conditions will surely have issues accessing the stairs to reach the property and the villa we booked is just one room facing the lake at 3rd floor with old doors and bathroom is outside so is the kitchen. People are friendly till you reach the property and after that you are on your own 😊»

«Nice apartment but no mention whatsoever that you can only use the pool for 1 hour a day and the Jacuzzi for half an hour a day. ( advert makes it sound like you have your very own jacuzzi but you done. It’s shared with about 12 other Apartments ). Garden needs a tidy up. BBQ could’ve been cleaned properly ( as it wasn’t I left it in the same state of found it ).
