Relax at the Lake!

Enjoy your coffee while listening to the waves gently lap up onto the shoreline along with the loons having their morning gab session. Watch the eagles, pelicans and the egrets dive for their breakfast or join them on an early morning fishing excursion.
This beautiful 2 acre wooded lot along with 200 feet of sandy beach is located just 3 miles north of Perham, MN.
Summer fun includes boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, biking, golf near-by as well as several fabulous restaurants and shopping.
Capture the beautiful colors of Fall on a quiet walk, hiking or biking on the miles of trails throughout the area. This is also an ideal location to ride motorcycles on the winding backroads of lakes country.
For those who enjoy the winter, several miles of snowmobile trails, ice fishing, skating, downhill and cross country skiing are within the immediate area. Access to the lake in the winter is out the front door. The flat lot provides ease for fishermen hauling ice houses, snowmobile riders and ice skaters.
Our house has two spacious bedrooms, each with private bathrooms with showers.
Bedroom 1 has a king bed, dresser, TV, walk-in closet and private bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has two queen beds along with generous closet space and private bathroom.
The upstairs living room has enough space for an air mattress for an extra sleeping area, a couch and a smart tv.
The main floor has a full kitchen which includes everything needed to prepare meals, keep your beverages cold and watch a movie. Also included: washer/dryer, 1/2 bathroom on main floor, outdoor shower, beach towels, 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, floaties, outdoor patio, grilling area, docking space for boat(s).
Pontoon is available for rent upon availability.
The rental home is attached to owner's main house which is separated by an indoor patio.

Such a wonderful Fall weekend getaway. We were in the area for a wedding, but were so surprised at how beautiful Perham is. We loved eating and shopping in town, heading to Maplewood State Park for a beautiful Fall hike, and enjoying the views and calmness at the Lake House. The home was very clean, spacious, and has everything you need. Hopefully we can make it back someday!

Beautiful property and a gorgeous beach on the lake. The space was very clean, extra amenities to keep everyone busy and having fun. We used the place as a hub for several excursions to surrounding towns and events, and it was the perfect landing spot after our outings. In the evenings, fishing from the dock with our teenager was a great way to get outside and relax a bit. The kitchen, BBQ, and firepit were all well prepped- and we'll be sure to use them next time! While Perham has some very cute shops, the local food options are somewhat limited.

Vacation 2025

We had an amazing stay at Big Pine Lake. The property is well maintained and has all the amenities. The location is the perfect distance from Perham, the golf course and neighboring lakes. We would definitely recommend and return.

Wonderful Experience!

I don’t often do reviews but had to after our stay here. Kelly was an amazing host who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a good/positive experience. She was very responsive with all communication. Amenities were great, property was beautiful and well kept. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a perfect weekend lake getaway.

Loved our visit to the lake and this beautiful home! It felt very private, quiet and comfortable, even though connected to the main house. The amenities were precisely as listed. The owners were very pleasant and quick to respond to any questions during the stay. The bedrooms and upstairs sitting area were larger than expected, easy to accommodate some blow up beds for the children. A lovely stay for a family getaway!

Beautiful property and perfect location

Weekend getaway and in town for a wedding, we needed a place to stay. Kelly is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. The guest house is gorgeous!! They let us use the dock for our boat which allowed us to get some great fishing in!!

Wonderful stay on Big Pine Lake.

We had such a wonderful stay on Big Pine Lake at the rental hosted by Kelly & Paul. They have an incredibly beautiful property that the four of us stayed at. The home is first rate with absolutely everything you need. There is a lovely patio with stunning views of the lake and a really gorgeous beach. We were so pleased to meet Kelly & Paul. They are delightful people. Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable. We hope we can come back another time.

Big Pine Lake Gem

Our family has grown so much, we needed additional housing for our adult children this year. This little gem was perfect for us. It is essentially a "guest house" of the main house that is connected through a breezeway. The house is perfectly appointed with gorgeous finishes and all you would need for a family or group of friends. Dishes, linens, extras galore. The host reached out to ensure our stay was going well and made everything very easy for us. Would highly recommend!

Peaceful Getaway

This was the perfect getaway for our family of five! The cabin is just as pictured and described- beautiful, clean and stocked with anything and everything you should need! We really enjoyed the beach area and having the kayaks and paddle board available to use. Big Pine is such a peaceful lake. Kelly and Paul were wonderful hosts and available for any questions.

BEST STAY EVER!

We rent short term rentals often and Kelly & her property are an absolute standout! The BEST of the BEST! Kelly is beyond the most accommodating host I have ever met. So responsive and helped us host the most beautiful baby shower for our daughter on the property. This place is very clean, well-stocked, has everything you need to have the best stay ever! Definitely rent this property!

Mixed feelings

We had a wonderful stay here and planned to return annually until… two weeks later I recieved an email stating that I was being charged $75 for new bed sheets. Host said that there was “orange medicine or food spilled on the blankets.” I was confused by this as I was positive we hadn’t ate/drank or used any orange products near the bedrooms. I asked for a photo and what I received was a photo of two tiny brownish dots on a comforter. Not even entirely sure how someone noticed them, and easily could have been there from guests before our stay, but I cant believe I’m being charged damages for it 😅

Great location for visiting Perham

We initially missed that we were renting a shared property with the owners, which we always avoid. But it ended up working out great! The rental side of the property is set up to where you don’t even realize it’s shared. We liked that both bedrooms were upstairs and had bathrooms attached. Great location relative to our family in Perham and the downtown area. We look forward to coming back during the summer to take advantage of the lake. The lake and those amenities will make the rental price more worthwhile vs. our stay in the fall/early winter. But couldn’t have asked for a prettier lake view and spot to watch the sunrise every morning. We will be back!
