Vakker hytte på Øvre Hay Lake

Denne vakre innsjøen Eiendommen har 2 hytter og en bunk huset. Hoved Koselig hytte har to soverom og ett bad, som sover fire. Gjesten Koselig hytte har 2 soverom og 1 bad, som sover tre. Denne eiendommen har også en køye hus som kan sove ni. Køya Huset er flott for barna å ha sin egen komme bort og etterlater foreldrene på egen hånd komme unna. Hovedhytta har en 32in TV med DVD-spiller. Ta med din favoritt DVD-er og nyte popcorn og en film mens du sitter ved den vakre stein peis.
Sand svømming vil ta med ungene timer med moro. Det er en offentlig landing, så ta båten og jet ski for timer med moro på denne 640 acre innsjø. Det er en dock og båt løft gitt på eiendommen. Innsjøen har noen god sommer og vinter fiske med mange forskjellige arter av fisk å fange!

Ikke en fisker? Hytta er en mil unna Paul Banyan stien som går fra Brainerd til Walker. Du vil ha en flott tid sykling, turgåing, truger, og snøscooter på denne stien. Snakker av snøscooter er det en skuterløype som er 1/2 mile fra hytta. Dette toget vil koble deg til 100s av miles med preparerte løyper.
I løpet av våren, høsten og sommeren kan du også nyte de mange flotte golfbanen i området, som sik Golf Course. Det er mange ting du kan gjøre i den vakre byen Pequot Lakes som mini golf, shopping eller stoppe og nyte en film på kino. Du er heller ikke langt fra Nisswa, Crosslake, og Pine River var de har mange sted å spise og handle.

Yearly Family Vacation

What a great find! It is getting harder and harder to gather the family together for a week. Has we grow finding enough room is a struggle especially when they all have pets as well. Having some separate living quarters was a big help. Loved having access directly to a lake. Price was great and everything was nice but dated which we didn't mind. It was mostly clean and everything worked except the freezer door didn't stay shut so things would thaw out. My only issues were there was a bunch of food in cupboards and fridge/freezer which made it hard to get our stuff in. Some of the cabinets were dirty but they were not ones used often. Lastly was the glass on the fireplace door was broken which created a safety hazard for the toddlers. We put up a gate over top to keep them out so we made it work. Nice large spot for adults to play games and kids still had room to play. Neighbors were close which I don't think was noticeable from the pictures but didn't really have any issues with them. All in all we'd go back.

Our First Camping Trip as a Whole Family

We decided to stay here as it would be enough room for our whole group, me, my husband, his kids, my kids, and our grandkids. There were 13 of us total. We really like this rustic cabin. It is definitely outdated, but that was fine by us as then we didn't have to worry about the grandkids so much. The place was clean and we were spread out a bit in the three different sleeping areas. The bunk house area worked good for my daughter and her husband and three kids to sleep in. It would be nice if they had a bathroom out by the bunkhouse. I would say that they could fix a few things/update them but all in all it's a nice place for the cost. We would consider staying here a again. Thank you. (consider fixing the bunkhouse beds, some were duct taped together and not safe for people to sleep on)

Family Vacation for Blended Adult family

Absolutely Wonderful.. 13 adults and three grandchildren.. We had six to seven vehicles, and had no problem parking. The bunk house is in the garage, with is great for the single guys. The space in the garage is great for taking chairs when rains, or large outdoor activity. The main house was perfect, loved the washer and dryer.. The hot water lasted 4 showers- amazing! Dish washer took a second to figure out how to start, but worked wonderful. We used grill, oven, microwave and stove. I would recommend going thru cupboards to inventory what is there and where.. Cullender was below with pans, not with bowls.. The separate cabin, is great for family with child, due to children sleeping and adults drinking and playing cards. We did hook up a sports channel to watch WNBA- no problem though. The dock needs works, but is usable. Owners friend rents pontoons- thanks for the referral.. Will rent again- was a great week- Thanks for returning all phones calls. Thank you for a great vacation- Abigayle & Tom

Family Reunion

We had a fulll house of all aged peeps. There was room for everyone, it was cozy, but we have years of “together time”. The stairs to the water and dock need repair, that was super sad. The bugs were horrible, we used a fogging machine. Worked good for several hours at a time. Fire pit was amazing and plenty of wood👍!! There were a some beds that were comfy, maybe upgrade the old ones? Bunks could use some security.

Nasty house needs major fixing - then could be real nice!!

This property needs ALOT of help! 1. First of all an instruction booklet would have been nice. 2. Dishwasher - how do you turn it on? Would have been nice to have a sign about the light switch that says "start dishwasher. 3. Bathroom fan does not work that is probably why all the wallpaper is falling off the wall. 4. Lights blink - wiring in this house is really bad -- could burn down at any minute hopefully not when rented. 5. In the outside bunk house - there was a coffee pot with coffee in it that had mold growing in it - FIRE your housekeeper!! 6. No outside lights on either the main cabin or the bunk house -- maybe change the light bulbs!! Very dangerous! 7. Open outlets - watch your little kids! 8. In the outside bunk house there was a blanket that had puke on it - and it wasn't ours! 9. When we asked for heat in the outside bunk house the owner said just pick temp-pilot lite not lit. 10. Had to work at getting TV to work -- again if there was an instruction booklet it would have been nice. 11. On the description of bedrooms on the main site on VRBO it says there are 3 bunk beds. We assumed they were in the outside bunk house. Finally found them in a stinky smelly garage! It should say. 12. Lots of dust on air conditioner & furnace 13.Outlets in island do not work-bad wiring i'm sure 14.The steps into bunk house, down to the lake and the railing on main house - accident waiting to happen 15. Patio door-main house lock didn't work.no steps on patio door in bunk house

Family time

All 16 of us had a great time. Great fishing and swimming. Cabins Avery clean. Older as previous reviews stated. Don’t have to worry about following behind kids with juice. Lots of outdoor space for outside games.

Nice Place.

We had a family get together here. The bunkhouse on the garage did hold a lot of people and then we had the main cabin bedrooms full and fhe smaller cabins as well. Yes, it is dated but it's clean. People complaining about the stairs to the lake are wrong. They are old but they are stable. Zach was great at communicating. Only complaint is the neighbor did come out and scream at us about a family members car pulling into the driveway. He seemed like a bittwr angry person anyway. Told him we rented for the weekend and we are here to stay. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Old and funky but a good fit for us.

A bunk house for the 6 teens, a cabin for mom and two kids, a cabin for gramma and grampa and mom of 3 of the teens. It worked great for us. Old and funky but we didn't have to stress about what the kids might wreck. It was clean. Nice size kitchen and living /dining room for us all to gather. Fire pit and big yard. A lot of stairs to the lake but we knew that from the description. Affordable stay for the 12 of us. We had fun together as a family.

Not bad….

The property does need some updating but the pictures show that. It was relatively clean which was great- just some dust and cobwebs if you look up. Zach responded quickly to any questions/issues. We enjoyed being able to bonfire every night and and have enough space for our large group.

Cozy Cabin stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cabin. Zach responds to questions right away and is great to work with. The AC works great, hot showers, and cabins were clean. The place needs updates, but it is functional for your needs if you aren’t real particular.

Missled by photos

Sounds good in description of 2 cabins and "bunk house", However, the property is extremely neglected! Of the 32 stairs headed down to the lake there were 7 that need to be replaced, one stair collapsed when a child was walking down to the water, there are broken deck boards with actual places to fall through. All outside decking and stairs need serious help! There was a major storm that went through while we were there, However, these issues were already there. The storm did further damage and knocked over a tree and took out the stairs of the small cabin and it was not accessible. the next day they cut about a 5' section out of the tree so we could access the cabin and left the rest of the tree to have to maneuver around and did not fix the stairs! Also this "bunk house" is just a sectioned off part of the garage with bunk beds and a tiny "window" to hold the little AC unit. All electrical was very sketchy with lots of burned out bulbs, overall upkeep was very poor! The main cabin was very cute and comfortable and the beds were pretty decent too and the air worked VERY well, so there was a positive. Would not stay again or recommend. Also almost zero view of the lake.

Good Experience for the Price

This rental is good for the price it’s listed at. We brought 9 adults and 5 young kids. There was plenty of space for all of us, loved the living space in the main cabin. The pictures from the listing were from a few years ago so the property looks a little different. The property has been missing some general maintenance to maintain safety and functionality of guests (rickety steps, holes in floorboards, screws sticking out of the porch, etc.). A few things missing from their listing description were: sandy beach, boat lift, and “tons” of games. The location was great because we were very close to a public boat landing, hiking, mini golf, and other small towns to check out. Zach was responsive and flexible, which was great! Overall, our stay was enjoyable. With some general maintenance and upkeep, we’d love to come back!
