«While the cottage was in a lovely location and it was great seeing the old trains going past occasionally, we were actually a little disappointed with it otherwise. The cottage was quite grubby in places, especially the kitchen extractor fan which had dirt and grease dripping from it. There was also a lot of cobwebs scattered about. «Lovely little studio cottage, very comfortable and ideally placed for local amenities. Good size kitchen and bathroom and plenty of room in the bed / sitting room. Also plenty of parking. «Kerry's place was just what my friend and I needed for our weekend away. Directions to the cottage were spot-on (and would've been easy to follow if we'd remembered we were coming from the opposite direction!). I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered!
