Charles, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I am sorry that we ran out of some breakfast items but this was due to the manager, myself, being out with covid. Thank goodness we were able to get my shifts covered and did not have to close the hotel for the week. The staff here at Lakes Inn at Dunvilla really strive to provide the bests for our guests. Carlos is a great Guest Service Agent and always goes above and beyond. I will make sure that he sees this. I can't agree more about the Cornfield. They do a great job over there and I try to eat there as often as I can... Thanks for the feedback on the tubs/showers, we will get on that right away.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay! The water at times does develop a strange odor. That is one of the down falls of well water in this area. Rest assured that our well has been tested by the State of Minnesota and everything is good. :) Are you a mind reader? The patio and fire pit is something that we have had planned to do, Covid-19 just set us back some on our plans for improvements to the property. As business starts to bounce back we hope to put those plans back into place. Thanks for taking the time to place a review, it is very much appreciated. Please come stay with us again and maybe we will have that fire pit in place.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment. We do offer a wine and beer bar. Unfortunately it is fairly recently that the bar opened. Due to some of the delay in waiting for a response from the state we were not able to get all of our product. Starting this week we should have six different wines available along with the 10 different beers that we currently offer along with the Hard Seltzer waters. We are always looking for new suggestions from our guests. We are also sorry that you were disappointed with the breakfast offering. We do try to offer something for everyone that is why we offer 2 types of Yogurt, 4 kinds of Cold Cereal, 4 different flavors of Oatmeal, Three different types of breads, Three flavors of bagels, english muffins, eggs, a meat option, a potato or starch option, waffles, muffins or a pastry, coffee, fresh fruit, tea, milk, orange juice and apple juice. We do appreciate this feedback and will use it to improve all that we offer. Thank you.

Sorry about the confusion with your payment we are working on getting this figured out with our property management system. I apologize that the guest service agent was not available when you rang the bell. I will talk with all of them about this and let them know that this is not acceptable. Being a fairly new property we are working on those extra amenities and have plans to make some additions. Not knowing when you stayed I am pretty sure that the bar was not open because we were waiting on receiving our license from the state. We have now received that and the bar is open. We are so happy to finally have the parking lot paved and apologize for any inconvenience your experienced during the paving process.
