Extremely clean and cute home! Very well appointed and thoughtful additions to a rental home - yoga mats, binoculars, lawn games, etc. Bedding was super comfortable, like staying in a luxury hotel. The location was superb - gorgeous mornings watching boats go out and beautiful golden hour sipping drinks on the porch.

Paradise

The place was beautiful! The views were stunning (upstairs and downstairs), the house was super clean. We loved the espresso machine and all the books to enjoy on the beautiful terrace! You can hear the waves crashing and watch the lighthouses beaming at night.

Beautiful seaside cottage

This cottage was beautifully renovated, clean, and modern with stunning views of the sunrise over the ocean. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment and the gas fireplace made our November stay cozy. Highly recommend!

Amazing ocean at the front door!

Wonderful relaxing get away !Perfectly appointed oceanfront home. Everything within the home is pure luxury…Gorgeous bed linens, thick oversized towels, comfortable king sized beds with soft generous pillows. Viking cookware and a gourmet kitchen. We didn’t want to leave

Backshore Respite

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this adorable and welcoming home. The house itself is beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The entire house is equipped with everything we needed from comfortable beds to cozy couches. The location is unbeatable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying our breakfast on the deck was very special. The host was incredibly responsive and made our short stay smooth and truly a respite.

Beautiful Seaside Property

Perfect location, stunning views and well appointed home with quality sheets, soft fluffy towels and blankets. The appliances are new and coffee is supplied with option of expresso machine was a nice extra. The upstairs bath is quite luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Lisa and Scott are wonderful hosts. Thanks for your hospitality.

This house has top notch quality furnishings and every gadget you would ever need. The island had an electricity flash while we were there resulting in a glitch in a cable tv failure. Even though they were at a social outing, the owners worked quickly to get it reset. The house is about a 15–20 minute walk to downtown. We wish we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend this property.

Heavenly oceanfront retreat

Our guests could not have been happier during their stay. The setting is absolutely exquisite and our hosts were communicative and very, very helpful. Our guest commented on all the notes left around the cottage and how helpful that was in terms of how to use appliances, etc. etc. we would definitely highly recommend it to anybody interested in visiting Peaks Island.

Ideal

From the beauty of the physical setting to the comfort and design of the cottage, it could not have been more perfect. The property appeared to be recently remodeled, with new furnishings. It was well stocked; the hosts seeming to anticipate whatever I might have needed. It even had a cappuccino machine with delicious coffee beans ready to be ground. The house is close to the road, but there is very little traffic, and it doesn't feel intrusive or noisy.The window coverings thoughtfully allow one to block out the road, yet capture the view of the rocks and sea.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend here for her birthday and had an absolute blast! The bedrooms have a direct view of the ocean! At high tide the waves feel like they almost touch the house! The water is just across the road (tiny road) from the front door and the view is totally unobstructed! We biked around the whole island but the house is on the best stretch! The bikes that came with the house were so nice to have! The house is tastefully decorated and offers tons of natural light and breathtaking views from almost every room. There is a beautiful little deck outside as well! We couldn't have asked for a better time on Peaks Island! Such a lovely place to stay and I guarantee we will be back!!

Exceptional and wonderful

The house was completely perfect in every way- so clean it looked like I was the first person to ever step foot inside, every single piece of furniture charming and extremely comfortable, everything in perfect condition, with thoughtful extra touches like an excellent espresso machine and well maintained bicycles, plus so many careful and wonderful details, and everything you could need organized and labeled. Lisa was an exceptional host, she made sure that the check in process was easy and went out of her way to help make sure I knew the ferry times and gave me advice about getting around the island (which is easy and delightful). She answered all my questions very quickly. And, saving perhaps the best for last, the location: just spectacular. The view is astonishing, and there’s a wall of windows in the front and you can sit and eat or work or hang out and just look at the ocean and nearby islands, it was magical. It’s right near one of my favorite spots in the island, a rocky beach where people make sculptures. It’s quiet and secluded but still an easy walk to the ferry and restaurants and shops. I feel so lucky to have stayed here and hope to come back many times.

We had a great stay at this vacation home. Owner was responsive to questions. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. They’ve made very good use of the small footprint so you can actually spread out a bit if needed. The kitchen is very well stocked and it was so nice to have high quality cookware to use. The house is close to the small road out front so you should feel comfortable with people (mostly walking, on bikes or in golf carts) just outside the house. It did not bother us at all and we actually enjoyed all the people that stopped to enjoy the small flower garden and the beautiful view across the road. Great location on the island - close enough to town but not so close that you are impacted by crowds during the busy summer season. A tip for future visitors - the hammock is in a bag behind a chair in the living room area. We had seen it in the photos and looked forward to using it. When we arrived and it wasn’t set up we assumed it wasn’t available for use. Not a big deal at all - just wish we’d known before the last day of our visit. Would definitely rent this home again and recommend it to others!
