«Joel at the front desk was very friendly and amazing. Although we stayed only for one night, the hospitality we received was great. The breakfast was served on the table with plenty of items. Joel offered plenty of advice for visiting the national park, the general safety tips, etc. The views were breathtaking, wish we stayed longer. »

«This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. «Belle propriété avec bungalows tout neufs et très mignons. On a même vu un paresseux dans un arbre. Juste à côté de frog's paradise donc parfait pour la visite de nuit, on peut y aller à pied. «You don't stay in Arenal for the area around the B&Bs. You go to Arenal because it's funky and quiet and friendly . We return to Casa Donna Rosa for the welcoming owners and most of all for the fantastic breakfast preparations. I have only been gone one day and I miss their breakfasts already. Home baked Challah in think hunks with baked crisp finish the their french toast...yumm even before you try adding the smear of preserves. Great Costa Rican coffee is served with pots of wam milk. »

«I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts.
