Very old, not clean and a broke window you could not close. They also charged my credit card before leaving. We will never come back.

Nice hotel, situated about as central as possible, right by metro station Chatelet. Pleasant staff, very good breakfast. Also details like refil of soap, towels and coffee in the room was in place.

Grand Hotel Dechampaigne i Paris sentrum
Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt med gangavstand til det meste. Frokost er sikkert som en vanlig fransk frokost med croissant, ferskpresset juice, yoghurt, kaffe, te, syltetøy, tynne brødskiver... 150 meter til Metro som var fantastisk når man etterhvert forstod systemet der. 50 meter til hovedgate og mange kjøpesenter og butikker. Ca.30 min å gå til Eiffeltårnet. Ca.10 min å gå til Notre Dame. Ca.5 min å gå til kjøpesenter Les Halles med 127 butikker. Kan være litt fest prat fra folk som er på vei hjem fra fest, men jeg synes det er noe som følger med å bo sentralt i Paris. Sengen vi hadde på dobbeltrom med queensize var hard og minnet om madrasser som ble produsert for 30 år siden. Og dem har ikke dyne der, dem bruker pledd som dyne.

Bra beliggenhet, men et falleferdig hotell. Rommet var veldig lite og stinket tigerbalsam (vaskemiddel?), rommet var likevel skittent opp etter veggene. Sengen var hard. Vi hadde balkong, som ble redningen for dette oppholdet. Helt middels frokost. Anbefales ikke.

Flott beliggenhet i forhold til kafeer, restauranter og shopping, og noen severdigheter. Enkel tilgang fra både tog og t-bane. Hotellet trenger dog generelt litt oppussing og ikke minst litt bedre senger.

Et hotell som er sentralt plassert i forhold til shopping og andre serverdigheter. Ok rom, litt små men helt ok. Liten og hard seng. Stort bad og pluss for aircondition. Frokosten var ikke mye å skryte av og lite påfyll når det ble tomt.

Sentralt!
Et lite "Grand Hotel", men koselig! Engelsk gikk greit. Litt støy fra noe elektrisk som slo seg av og på gjennom natten. Dessuten var air-condition maskinen tett i filteret. Renset dette selv og da ble det god kjøling.

Meget god beliggenhet og topp service. Hyggelig betjening i alle ledd. God frokost og servering. Stor fordel at man kan ta tog (RER) direkte fra Charles de Gaulle flyplassen til Chatelet les Halles. Gå ut på Rue Rivoli-siden, så er det bare 200 meter til hotellet.

Our room wasn’t as pretty as the pictures, but it was okay. We had a room with 3 single beds for 3 people, it was small, but enough, we didn’t really spend that much time there. The location makes it all worth it. Louvre and Notre Dame are within walking distance, and the metro station Chatelet is right around the corner, and it’s like a hub to many metro lines, you can literally go anywhere from there. The breakfast was good and convenient. 15 euro seemed a lot at first, but when we tried eating somewhere else it was even more.

We had so sit and wait for two hours past check in time for the room to be ready. They kept telling us it would be ready in 15 more minutes. The carpet in the lobby needed to be vacuumed. The stairs were so filthy and stained I was shocked. They clearly had not been vacuumed in a long time. But the worst part was our room. There was black mold on the ceiling and around the vent in the bathroom. The room reeked of vinegar. There was fabric wallpaper on the walls. There were little dark spots all over the wall around the headboard that looked like mold. We opened the windows to air out the room. Outside of one window is a small landing full of cigarette butts. Out of the other there was a rod that is a pigeon perch. There was an inch of bird crap there. I was afraid to leave that window open. There were many dark stains on the walls, like splattered coffee in several areas. The beds have mattresses and two mattress toppers stacked on top of the mattresses. The hotel is in a narrow back alley. The neighborhood did not feel safe. After taking many photos and calling the company we booked through, we checked out and fled to a clean hotel in a safe area.

スーペリアルームにしましたが、雨漏りが凄かったです。また、暖房器具も壊れていました。軽い雨漏りは目を瞑りましたが、スコールのような雨が降った後は床までびしょ濡れで部屋を変えてもらえました。(その部屋は暖房も壊れていませんでした) 立地はとても良かっただけに残念です。

The hotel wasn't what I thought Old and dirty, decrepit and we got an 'upgrade' room...I wonder what an other room looks like. I took some pictures : Stained carpet, cracks in the walls, moldy bathroom ceiling and so on. Really not happy at all

Spent a week at the hotel. What I liked: location - walkable to many major attractions in Paris Centre. 30 seconds from the metro Chatelet. The room was charming. I liked the toile on the wall and the exposed wooden beams. The room was exceedingly clean and housekeeping tidied every day and changed the pillow linens. The breakfast was copious though I grew tired of the same offering after a week. Finally the staff was very friendly and helpful. The weak points: the room that I had is in need of some TLC. While clean , it was run down and shabby and could benefit from a ‘cure’. Despite being on a very small side street, it was very noisy. It seemed to have garbage removal every single day along with other service trucks throughout the week. The construction work on the building next door starts early and lasts all day. Glad we were out and about most of the day to miss it. You can often hear people talking or listening to the television in neighbouring rooms. Finally, the room does not have individualized climate control. Throughout most of the time we were there the heat was on. Some nights we had to sleep with the window open as it reached 25C. Would I stay there again? Yes. It is good value. It is a great location. The neighbourhood appears quite safe and in proximity to services, and sites of interest. It is a three-star hotel after all and not the Ritz. If you are expecting five-star accommodation, look elsewhere. Thank you for the visit!

A good place to stay in paris

The staff was pleasant however the bed was terrible. The location was nearby to the Marai and museums etc. like many old city’s the rooms are small and I’m ok with this. However the shower was a cruise ship sized shower and the only way to cool the room was to sleep with the window open which is not ideal in the city.

RERのシャトレ駅からも階段無しでも来れます。地下鉄も出入り口を選ぶと各地下鉄線にも乗り易く便利です。 ほぼ街の中心部に有るので、何処に行くにも便利なホテルで周辺にも美味しいレストランも有り、また次回もこのホテルに宿泊したいと思います。

As good as it gets for a 3 star hotel in Paris. Well-located, but a bit noisy because of proximity of Rue de Rivoli. Room had a fridge and a safe, which is unusual for a 3-star hotel. Staff very nice.
