«Had an excellent stay at the Pontcanna Inn! I had a last-minute trip to Cardiff come up and was very happy to find such a lovely place on short notice. The room was, clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Despite being above a pub and close to the street, the room was very quiet. I could hardly hear any noise from the pub or the street during my time there. Would definitely recommend the Pontcanna Inn for anyone looking for a stay in Cardiff.»

«Hotell med fantastisk beliggenhet rett ved Cardiff Castle, parken, elva og handlegatene. Men...hotellet trenger sårt til en oppussing, det er slitt og virker derfor litt snuskete, med gamle vegg til veggtepper og avskallet maling. Rommet vi hadde var ganske lite, badet likeså, men utsikten mot slottet var flott. Dusjen var ikke god. Senga var OK, med en hard og en myk pute. Frokosten var grei nok, varm og kald mat, buffet. Kaffen var grusom. Hyggelig personale. Kommer ikke til å bo det igjen,»

«The staff, especially Marina on reception, were very friendly and helpful. Despite it being Xmas party season the room was quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast choice and food very good for a hitel of this type. There is limited parking which is the only slight negative. Overall very good and value for money, we would definitely stah there again.»

«I had a lovely stay at the hotel. It's located right in the center of Cardiff, and my room had some great views on the castle. The entrance suggests that you enter a lush and luxurious hotel, with a hallway and staircase that remind us of lords and ladies of times gone by. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience is a bit more down to earth. One elevator was out of service during my stay, the other one had issues. The rooms are a bit outdated, need a bit of maintenance, and the walls and doors ...

«10-15 mins walk from Central Cardiff straight through the main street with it’s lovely arcades, pubs, cafés and bars. Got a top view from the hotel room over Cardiff Castle, although the windows where really dirty. Some construction work right outside the room in the fifth floor when I arrived. Didn’t borher me much, and they didn’t wake me up either. Friendly staff. Didn’t have breakfast there. Recommend The Main Street for that. »

«Veldig god seng, stort rom med kjøleskap. Varmt der og da det ble sol ble det +30 grader på rommet! Heldigvis var det plassert ut vifte, men det ble allikevel for varmt. Superbra frokost! »
