Lajedo do Pai Matheus is a mystic and secluded area in the Northeast high desert. From the top plateau you can see the lasgest monolites sculped by nature and the small lakes formed by erratic rainfalls, which also paint the soil and the rocks with amazing yellow, brown and vivid orange, due the action of minerals and oxidation.
these are one of the largest monolits sculped by nature. Lajedo do Pai Matheus features the most unique collection of stones sculped by the wind throughout millions of years in high desert regions, with colours paited by the erratic rainfalls minerals and oxidation
