«It was just opening after the pandemic and they were really short on staff. We had to wait a long time to get our orders. Only the poolbar was open as restaurant and the food was sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Their wine selection was very limited.

«Staff are polite and friendly in all departments. The lobby is refreshing and beautiful to hang around. There are some little things that needs fixing in the room, for ex the shower leaks after turning it off. The screw where the towels hanged is a little wobbly. All in all, our stay is excellent. Spacious rooms and beds in de luxe rooms. Quiet area in contrast to Alona beach nightlife.»
«Storfamilien tilbrakte en hel uke på Amarela i romjulen/ nyttår. Hotellet/resorten er som et kunstverk i gammel Boholstil, med gammelt treverk og utskjæringer over alt. Veldig hyggelig og pent. Du får litt følelsen av å være i Italia eller Frankrike. Fin restaurant, bibliotek og bassengområde. Rommene er også fine. «terrible stay. staff were rude, rooms were not clean at all. these furnitures need upgrade. some chairs were even spotted with bloods...dining at the hotel is pricey and small portion. I was not able to get a taxi because it is too far away from the main street. I will never go back to this hotel again»
