Fabulous Location and Great ValueThis condo is in a fantastic location — truly perfect for enjoying the beach, which was our main goal. The unit itself was a good value for the price. While the furniture isn’t the most updated, it was comfortable and suited our needs.Check-in was smooth and easy, which we appreciated. There were a few small details that were disappointing — for example, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working at first, and we discovered it was simply unplugged. We also had trouble streaming Netflix due to a slow connection, and it took until the next day to get a response about that issue.That said, we didn’t come to watch TV — we came to enjoy the beach, and on that front, the property delivered perfectly. Overall, despite the minor inconveniences, I would definitely stay here again based on the value for the price.

The view is the very best part of this condo. It is actually on the beach with nothing but sea grass and palm trees between your back porch and the Gulf. The place was beautiful, very clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We will be back!

The view from the balconies were gorgeous. Wonderful location with less crowds but still close to restaurants and things to do. Beds were hard and lumpy. Floors and rugs could use a good cleaning (our feet and/or socks were black after showers so we wore shoes around the house) Stove and refrigerator needed wiped down, but everything else looked great. The beach decor in each room was cute. They also had extra chairs, umbrella, and pool/beach toys! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home! I grew up visiting my Aunt who previously owned a condo at The Shores Townhomes and it was my favorite place to visit. I’m so excited to have stayed in a condo that reminds me of hers and is just as homey! We will definitely be staying again as it was perfect for my family!

Family getaway

Beautiful interior with remodels. Super easy to walk right out the door onto the beach. Perfect weather and not crowded during the week.Maintence issues with broken cooling fan in frig which cost us over 100 of food and almost our son's insulin. Fan fixed 30 hours after, ready for the next renters. AC worked great all week until the last day of the stay where it ran all day/night and didn't go below 76.

Great family home

The place was very accommodating for our family of 6. The location is perfect. Everything was as expected and unit was very clean. The parking can get tough if you have 2 cars. We had to shuffle cars a couple of times to get out. My only suggestion would be to address the awful sound that the dryer makes. It works fine but the sound is ear piercing! Also, the pool is a half day hike to the other side of the complex but it’s on a decked surface so an easy, flat walk. We would love to stay here again!

Unit not ready for guest due to ongoing repairs

We have stayed in this unit several times. This stay there was no internet connection, or deck Funiture. Also there were no blinds on the big front widows letting the afternoon sun come in. The property manager did a great job in getting corrections done, however we had to leave sheets over the windows which blocked the ocean view. Regards, Ken Turner

Very Disappointing; I do not recommend!

The property was in a state of disrepair. There were no trim boards around the windows or doors, There were no blinds or curtains on the windows. The blinds were laying in the floor beneath the windows. There were construction materials in the stairwell. The floors were filthy. There was no furniture on either of the decks. When I notified the property manager (Best Beach Getaways) of this, they told me there was some deck furniture in the basement and I could take it up to the deck (I am a grandfather who was there with my small grandchildren). The property manager could not be bothered with sending someone over to do this. The property manager was apparently aware of the property condition and simply did not care. I would not recommend this condo or the property manager, Best Beach Getaways, under any circumstances! Very poor property and manager.

Short getaway

Quick trip for grandkids to meet up at The Shores. Condo was pretty much like website. Air unit was very loud. It sounded like a hard rainstorm, so it got to be like white noise.

We've been staying at The Shores since the 1990's. Although the property has some age, it's still the BEST location. Step out the door and you're on the beach!

Some times you need a break!

This condo/ townhouse was perfect! We needed a getaway for our long weekend and it was perfect. We forgot our chairs - but they had some for us to use! It was away from the hustle and bustle and we could just relax and enjoy our time on the beach. Plenty of room. Thanks for everything! We hope to visit again!!

Washing machine didn’t work there was no gas for the grill. Master bedroom mattress was in terrible shape. Pots and pans were not the best. The location and being right on the beach was awesome. Overall it was a good stay. We had a good time. Just need to do a few upgrades on some things almost there.

Girls trip

The bedding was missing a comforter. We had a very thin blanket and a sheet on top of the blanket?? I guess the top sheet was the comforter? We were chilly at night. A couple had to wear a jacket to bed. It also needs electrical outlets. We are an older group, a couple needing CPAC machines. Outlets were behind the beds, which we couldn’t reach. All of us had phones to charge at night also. A simple fix would be to get lamps that have charging on them. Location was great, right on the beach. Also, it was very clean. Just get some bedding and electric chafing lamps.

Great family get away!

The location is perfect, you are not in the crowd of PCB or Destin but located in the middle of both. This works wonderfully for teen kids along they can go to either easily! The beach is beautiful and the residents in the area are amazing! Would definatley visit again!

Gulf Front Townhome on Northwest side of Panama City Beach.

This property is just as it says. Gulf front. Beach access is right off the front deck/walkway to the home and is very easy to get to.

Renovated townhouse in a rundown building

This is actually my first review on Vrbo. I know many depend on review to help them make a decision on places they rent. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay. The building was very run down. You do not see any photos of the porch or balcony. They are desperately in need of renovation. The door handle was broken off and left sharp edges that cut my husband hand. Not safe for kids or adult apparently. The only thing nice about this place is the direct access to the beach. The house and floor felt sticky. The space was very small and certainly not adequate for 8 people. Unless you are very smitten with these 8 people. However, the kitchen had sufficient dinnerware and flatware. The beds and linen were acceptable. I don’t believe we will be returning to this rental property.

Perfect place!

This townhouse is amazing! Such a beautiful place to stay and just steps from the sand. We had a wonderful week in this well furnished townhouse. The place looks just like the pictures so you know exactly what you’re getting. It is beautifully updated and in a great quiet location. We had an issue with the air not cooling at first but the issue was resolved quickly. I highly recommend this townhouse for your beach vacation!
