Spring 2026 Rate Drop! 4 br/3.5 ba, Sleeps 13, Dog Friendly

A&R's Ocean House is the perfect family retreat! Located in all-inclusive gated community of Barrier Dunes, you will find stocked fishing ponds, 2 swimming pools, pickleball/tennis courts, and a playground.

As you enter into the enclosed, mud room there is ample area for storage (i.e. fishing rods, ice chests). The first level has a full day bed and twin trundle and storage benches. Just off this area is the screen porch that has a separate entrance, just walk outside and go feed the turtles in the pond or practice your casting. Also, there is outdoor seating on this porch to enjoy a cool beverage or finish reading.

Located on the second level is the living room, dining area, gourmet kitchen, half bath and laundry. This unique open floor plan of the living and dining area has amazing panoramic views of the lush landscaping and pond. Also, there is custom tile throughout the home. The living room has oversized leather sofas and recliners. There is a game table and a juke box (for decor). This home has numerous features including a gourmet kitchen w/solid cherry cabinets, granite, tile back splash, butler's pantry, and a 48" 5 star commercial gas stove. The open floor plan of the living and dining area allows plenty of room for everyone! There is a mounted 70 inch TV too!

The 3rd level has the master bedroom, master bathroom, 2 bathrooms and three bedrooms. There is a screen porch off the master bedroom and the bunk bed room. The screen porches have chairs and a sofa as well as a full size hanging bed for relaxing in the breeze and listening to the gulf.

A&R's Ocean House is just 3 minute walk to the beautiful sugar white sands of the Cape! This home is the perfect beach retreat and is well equipped to accommodate everyone!

There is an additional fee if you decide to bring your dog! Barrier Dunes is very accommodating for your favorite 4 legged friend! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs.

Please note that our policy is not to rent to anyone under the minimum age requirement.

The home is beautiful and has plenty of space. The tiled foyer is great for all the beach gear, coolers, and fishing tackle. We loved the kitchen, porches, and easy walk to the beach. Our only complaints were the floors weren’t cleaned very well. The ice maker and juke box didn't work, and water only heated to a luke warm. I would still recommend this home and stay here again.

Wonderful House

This house is really great. Good location and plenty of room for everyone to be together. The beach is a little more crowded in this part of the cape due to all the other rentals, so you have to get to the beach early so you don't have to walk to far, but it's a wonderful white sand beach.

Paradise

We’ve been coming to CSB for 15 years and this year we wanted to have our annual family get together here. This house is very spacious and has easy walk to the beach. Our group age range was 8-81 and we would definitely book again for next year. The screened in porches and lobby area were great! The kitchen is well equipped and great for large group cooking.

Loved this place!

Great place for our group of 8. Plenty of room to spread out, short walk to the beach. Kitchen is so nice and spacious. We had a wonderful time! This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and I would book it again!

Great Place on the Cape

We absolutely love Cape San Blas and this is a great place to stay. The walk to the beach is short and very manageable with a beach cart--which we brought. The house is very spacious and has some privacy compared to the many places in the community. The pools are fairly crowded, but not a big problem. The size of the community makes for a busier beach area than we were used to, but we really enjoyed the people we encountered.

3rd time favorite

We love staying here! The house is big and well laid out for big families. We put lots of quarters in the juke box, built puzzles on the card table and the kitchen was large and well appointed. The beach is about 5 minutes away, 10 if you are relaxed. :) We built a fire on the beach one night and made s’mores. The kids loved it!

Morgan Family Beach Trip 2022

We take a family beach trip every October - my mother, my adult kids and grandkids. We need space, amenities and decent beach access at affordable price. The house was every thing we needed and were promised. Although I would love to step off the deck onto the beach…this home was only a few steps away with a small view of the water from the upstair rooms. Kitchen was great with some staple items available to use which was nice (seasonings, plastic wrap, foil, dish soap and dishwasher tabs as well as a few other things). The jukebox was a fun attraction, although neither of us could ever come up with much change at a time to get a lot if use. Card table was great for late night fun. Two bicycles for use as well and since we were able to bring the kids bikes it good to have a. couple for adults to ride with them. We would book this home again!

Family reunion on the cape

The overall experience was great at this property. There were a few hiccups, but overall it was amazing. The a/c did struggle to keep up, but it was July and in Florida so I get it. I will say that neither the grill, or the ice machine worked, and that was a bit of a bummer, but the kitchen was stocked with little extras that always help with a week long trip away from home. Check in and check out was a breeze, and the location was wonderful and very clean and well maintained.

One word - Fabulous!!

What an amazing process from booking the property to signout! The property was perfect for me and my family - big enough for all of us and very comfortable! The property manager was always just a text message or phone call away if we needed her. The beach, the weather, the location, the accommodations - all perfect! Peaceful Vacation

The stay was great, quiet, walking distance to the beach but the wifi is horrible bring a hot spot if you want to stay connected while you are on vacation. If you like to fish this is a very good place to enjoy that too.

Christmas in Paradise !

Oceanhouse is everything we wanted in a Family Christmas Getaway. The Ocean is 3 min walk you. The 2nd pool is heated even in December. The House itself is outstanding with a wonderful working kitchen , big family living room and very nice bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Bonus the Swing Bed on balcony where you can read a book and listen to the ocean. We did bring our own beach towels and toilet paper in case we ran out. The instructions are all written out so you know exactly what you are getting. They even had small Christmas tree in Living room for us. Lots of special touches. We would def come back and at stay Oceanhouse .

Evacuation stay

Myself and my extended family (16 people and 5 dogs) are from Louisiana and we had to evacuate due to hurricane Ida. We have never been to Port St Joe before but knew we needed to be at least 5 hours away to be out of the storm's path. We were so blessed to find this property because it accommodated our large group AND was pet friendly! The house is beautiful and perfectly appointed. The kitchen was an absolute dream and had everything you could possibly need to cook for large groups. The neighborhood the house is located in was an added bonus with the 2 pools, a tennis court and super cute playground not to mention the State Park right across the highway! The owners of the home were very gracious and allowed us to extend our stay when we were not able to return to our homes after the storm. I highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway in a gorgeous setting. We were MORE than pleased during our unexpected stay.

Excellent vacation home to stay

We really enjoyed our labor day weekend by staying this home. Boys enjoyed fishing, beach, tennis and pool. The home was comfortable for us to reach the beach in 5 minutes. Beach was clean and had no weeds. Would like to come and stay in this home again.

Wonderful, spacious home near beach and park

This is a beautiful and roomy beach home is a short walk to the beach, pool and state park. The home is well appointed with beach gear and bikes for the outside, and a cozy main floor for dining and socializing. If you like to cook, like our family does, you’ll appreciate the large, well equipped kitchen with a large gas stove. It is a great house for large groups because you can all comfortably gather on the main floor, but there are also lovely screen porches to allow more private or quiet venues. All in all, a lovely stay in a lovely home.
