Friendly Starfish is a beautiful and spacious condo at the Ocean Reef Resort on Panama City Beach. With 4 bedrooms including a king, 2 queens, a trundle bed and a sleeper sofa in the living room, there's plenty of space for everyone. Whether you're soaking up the sun on the sugar white sand beach, playing in the crystal clear aqua Gulf, or exploring the many local attractions, this marvelous condo is the perfect home base for your vacation. Friendly Starfish is perfect for a trip to enjoy one of the many popular special events such as Breeze Jazz Fest, Gulf Coast Jam, Thunder Beach, the Grand Slam World Series of Baseball, Pirates of the High Seas and more. Of course, Friendly Starfish is also a great place to spend a week or more if you're coming to relax or spend days playing on the beach and in the warm Gulf of Mexico. Ocean Reef is definitely Beach Front.

As you step into the foyer of Friendly Starfish, you are greeted by a welcoming foyer inviting you to leave stress and any worries at the door. Active recreation and laid back relaxation are at the top of the itinerary when you're staying here. Take your shoes off and make yourself at home.

The 4 bedrooms are separted by zones, North and South. On the north side you will find the
Queen Size North, the jack and jill bath, the trundle bedroom and the laundry room.
On the south side you will find Queen South, the Master en-suite with walk-out balcony over the boardwalk with amazing sunrise and sunset views and the private, en-suite bath. The Living room, dining room and kitchen are in the center of the condo. The layout is convenient and also permits some separation for enhanced privacy.

Every bedrooms has a television, overhead and task lighting, natural light, ample storage space and an area for unwinding and relaxing. The comfortable mattresses encourage sweet dreams in prepartion for another great day on the "real fun beach."

The Livingroom is the perfect spot for family and friends to gather to watch a game, movie or favorite show on the wide screen, wall mounted television, to play a game, (there are some available) or simply sit and "catch up" with one another. The living room is furnished with a sleeper sofa, love seat, chairs and more. One of the truly great things about the living room is you can sit inside in airconditioned comfort and see the amazing Gulf of Mexico, the horizon and the tropical sky. Of course, for an even better view or to dine alfresco, just step out onto the private balcony.
If you're on the balcony early, you'll be in time to see one of several flocks of pelicans close up, as they fly by on their way out for the day. If you're on the balcony around lunch time keep your eyes on the water, It's a thrill to see dolphins playing in the shallow water close to the shore almost daily and some people have even spotted a manatee or two during the cooler times of the year. Sunset on the balcony is usually a magical time as the tropical sky becomes lit with amazing shades of yellow, orange, pink and violet just before the sun dips below the horizon. Even then, the balcony is a most special place to be because what appears to be a million twinkling lights take center stage above along with an awesome moon that will be reflecting off the mysterious Gulf waters below.

The dining room is furnished with a nice dining room table with chairs, a beautiful china cabinet and the nearby breakfast bar offers additional seating. There is room for everyone to break bread together. The kitchen is attractive and well furnished with enough cookware and service ware, new highend appliances, granite counter tops, oak cabinetry and more. One of the nice features of the kitchen is its open style. The family chef, or two, can prepare family favorites without being separated from the action going on in other parts of the Friendly Starfish.

Amenities include: keyless entry, Wi-Fi, cable television including music channels, 5 televisions, full size washer and dryer in the Laundry room, balcony access from the Master en-suite and the living room, a window in every bedroom and more. Amenities outside the condo include: a reserved, covered parking space, overflow parking for a 2nd car, exercise room with weights, wet and dry sauna, indoor heated pool, beachside pool, boardwalk, hot tub, BBQ grills and more.

Ocean Reef is 1.3 miles from Pier Park, Top Golf and the Dolly Parton Pirates Dinner Theater (opening Spring 2025) less than 2 miles from the Frank Brown Park and less than 1 mile from the Gulf World Marine Park. It is walking distance to Runaway Island restaurant and Funland Arcade where people have been having fun since 1959. Hidden Lagoon Super Race Track and Golf is across the street from Ocean Reef. Grocery Stores, Pharmacy, Alvin's Island Tropical Department store, Seafood shop and several restaurants are just minutes from the Friendly Starfish at Ocean Reef.
