Renovation Notice – Long Beach Resort, Panama City Beach, FL

Long Beach Resort will undergo planned exterior renovations from August 18, 2025, through April 2026. Project setup and material deliveries will take place August 4–18, with construction beginning August 18. This work, coordinated by the Homeowners' Association, includes balcony and exterior repairs.
During this period, guests may experience construction noise, limited access to certain areas and pools, and temporary modifications to entryways.
• The Lagoon Pool and lagoon pool hot tub will be open until November 28th.
• The pool and hot tub between Towers 1 and 2 will be closed starting August 28th and will remain closed until November 28th.
• The pool and hot tub between Towers 3 and 4 will be closed starting October 20th and will remain closed until the end of the project.
• Beach access and condo entry will remain open throughout the project. Beach chair service will be available through October 31.
• Balconies will remain open until November 10th, and then will be closed by section thereafter.
Please note that all dates are approximate and subject to change based on construction progress. Rates have been adjusted accordingly to reflect any potential inconvenience during your stay. This notice has been posted as of 7/7/2025, no refunds will be given for any renovation related inconveniences for any reservation booked after this date.

Beautiful sunsets and views from your private balcony everyday!!!

This unit is located in tower 4, the newest tower at Long Beach, on the 7th floor. Convenient to shopping, groceries, dining, nightspots, and attractions such as bungee jumping, go-kart racing, and amusement parks. Most entertainment spots and restaurants are just a few moments' walk or drive from Long Beach. Amenities in the condominium complex include three full-size pools and three Jacuzzi spas are located between each building. The lagoon pool has "The Hangout" bar and grill where you can get a burger and your favorite beverage while enjoying the beautiful islands with waterfalls in the 6800 sq ft pool. Restrooms are located convenient to each pool and beach. Parking is ample and open. Security personnel are 24 hrs and the resort is gated.

The condo comes fully furnished with efficiency kitchen, full size refrigerator,  microwave, cooktop, toaster oven, coffeemaker, and blender. Also included in the kitchen is a kitchen cart for extra storage and counter space! The condo has 2 USB charging outlets. The sleeping accommodations include a king bed with memory foam topper, and bunk bed - great for kids! There is a washer/dryer in the unit as well as a walk in shower with dual shower heads with a hand held shower - great for the little ones! The condo is centrally cooled and heated. The spacious deck (ten foot by eight foot) is perfect for having a cocktail while watching the beautiful sunset. Beautiful views of the gulf are afforded to the condo guest. Backpack beach chairs left in unit for your use.

Please note weight restrictions on the bunk bed are 150 lbs limit on top bunk and 185 lbs limit on lower bunk. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children under the age of 6 do not use the top bunk due to safety concerns.

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

My girls and I really loved it here! It was perfect for the three of us. The views were great and the beach access was literally right there. The beach was private so it was never crowded- the chairs were almost always open! 110% will be coming back!

On the beach

My family and I loved the condo. The bunk beds were great for the kids and the king bed was comfortable with a nice view of the ocean. The large fridge, microwave, stove top, and toaster oven allowed us to eat in most of the time. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the beach and the beach service provided.

Money Saver if Your Okay with a Few Flaws!

Property was not overly clean upon arrival. Black mold in shower along cocking, water in shower pan still, ceiling tiles water stained above shower. There were no extra amenity items in this unit such as: no extra trash bags, paper towels.. Fridge was off upon arrival so freezer and fridge were dethawed! Power strip was tripped behind dresser. There is a rotten smell coming from washer area that made condo smell when you entered every time. Overall we did enjoy our time, but this condo does need some overall cleaning, and upkeeps.

Perfect getaway

Nice location!! Great Sunset view

Loved the location with beach and pool access. Shower floor was dirty with private hair. They left us one and half roll of toilet paper and less then a quarter roll of paper towel. Never did it say you most bring your own. I feel as a vrbo asking cleaning fees for that amount we shouldnt have to strip the beds and funton and put it in Barhroom, also make sure all the trash is taking out at the end of our stay.

This property that we booked was wonderful. It was perfect for us and our two young children. The resort is gated with security which is always a plus for us, the property was very clean and taken care of and easy to get around, our room was very clean and organized and the bed was actually comfortable, unlike other hotel beds and such. We had everything we needed from the condo owner, she was very easy to get in touch with if we needed her and answered all of our questions almost immediately. The balcony and views were spectacular and had comfortable seating and plenty of space as well. We will definitely be booking with this owner in the future!

Get it for the sunsets!

The sunsets were great from this unit and it was clean. We had a beach wagon and chairs in the closet. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. We will stay again if we come without the teenagers again!

It was pretty good overall!

This was a great place to stay. Only two problems: 1. The toilet was mostly always running. It would eventually stop but definitely needs to be looked at. 2. The shower: this was frustrating, I had the hardest time getting that sweet spot with the hot water. It took a lot of fiddling with the faucet to get to the hot water. But if this faucet was fixed I would stay here again.

Amazing condo for 2!

This condo met all of my very high expectations. It was extremely clean and was just as described in the description. It was the perfect studio for 2 people. The condo had plenty of towels and extra linens. I especially appreciated the 2 beach chairs and wagon that I found in the closet. It had everything we needed for a fabulous beach getaway!

First time studio, frequent Long Beach Resort renter

The resort is always a great place to stay. Unfortunately during this time there were problems with the unit and elevator frequently out especially during busy times. Upon arrival, the mini fridge freezer part was unusable due to inches of frost. The dishes were dirty which didn’t help during a pandemic. Purchased our own cutlery, plates and cups. Sliding glass door was incredibly difficult to open and needed repair. Property manager was responsive but disappointing to walk in to these issues. Owner needs to remove the furniture no longer using to free up much needed space. Great view and colors in the unit just needs a little TLC.
