First off, the staff were all phenomenal. They were super friendly and check-in was one of the most accommodating hotel experiences I’ve had (and I travel quite a bit), even down to a warm welcome for our dogs. I loved the extra touch of decorating with a hot chocolate bar for Valentine’s week, too. It was really cute and highlighted the staff’s joy and care for the property.
The property felt safe and was in a convenient location. I especially like how well lit the entire property is at night! Not just the parking lot, but even the surrounding grassy areas, which made it easier to clean up after our dogs at night.
My only negative feedback is not for things that can be changed overnight, unfortunately. The room was showing its age and use a bit, and the shower grout could use a deep clean or replacement. The room wouldn’t get below 70°, which is too warm for my and my husband’s sleeping comfort, even with the a/c set to 66° (the lowest) or heat set to 60°. And we could hear the person in the room above us stomping around between midnight and 4 a.m. our last two nights - loud enough to wake us both up. We just stuck it out because it wasn’t worth it to us to uproot our items and request the front desk to move us to another room that late.
Overall it was a good stay for our trip. I would stay here again if/when we take another trip to Pampa.
