First of all, if you are booking with kids, I do not recommend this hotel. I was fortunate that my daughter turned 18 on the exact day we checked in, otherwise we would have been forced to look for another hotel immediately.
Second, as a photography enthusiast, I brought my professional camera, which I had just purchased specifically for this trip. While taking photos in the restaurant, we were asked to stop using flash. I completely understood and politely complied. We were then told that using the camera around the pool was okay, so we proceeded there. However, we were called out again and told that professional cameras are not allowed at all, even for personal use.
I explained that the photos were strictly for personal memories—just me and my daughter. If professional cameras are not allowed anywhere on the property, this should be clearly communicated at check-in or posted with visible signage. Being repeatedly approached felt uncomfortable and unnecessary, almost as if we were being ambushed for simply taking personal photos.
Lastly, the surroundings of the property need improvement. The area looked unorganized, and the landscaping could really benefit from better planning and nicer plants. With more attention to detail, the atmosphere could be much more appealing.
Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the lack of clear policies, inconsistent treatment, and overall experience.
