The Kasbah Palm Springs: Saltwater Pool, Spa & Mountain Views

Welcome to The Kasbah, a four-bedroom, two-bath Palm Springs retreat with Moroccan character, a private saltwater pool, a separate spa, and mountain views. This updated 1950s home offers 2,000 square feet of single-level living on a private, gated 11,000-square-foot lot in Movie Colony East. Sleeps up to eight guests.

THE HOUSE
Vintage Moroccan rugs, cushions, lighting, and artwork bring warmth to bright, open living spaces. Relax on the sectional, stream your favorites on the 60-inch smart TV using your own accounts, or gather around the dining table. The full kitchen has ample counter space, and gas fireplaces add atmosphere in the dining area and primary suite.

Outside, enjoy the pool, spa, shaded seating, courtyard fountain, electric grill, and outdoor dining among palms, olive trees, fruit trees, and desert planting.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
• Primary suite: king bed, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, fireplace, and sliding doors to the pool.
• Second bedroom: king bed and walk-in closet.
• Third bedroom: queen bed.
• Fourth bedroom: queen bed and a separate exterior sliding-door entrance.
The two queen bedrooms connect through a closet-style passage. Please consider this layout when planning your group's privacy and access. The second bathroom also has a walk-in shower.

EVERYDAY COMFORTS
Central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a private washer and dryer, driveway parking for three cars, and three high chairs and three portable pack-and-play cribs. Bedding, rugs, and outdoor furnishings may vary from the photographs as items are replaced.

LOCATION
Enjoy Movie Colony East, near Ruth Hardy Park and a short drive from downtown Palm Springs and the airport. Explore restaurants, shops, mid-century architecture, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, and the Indian Canyons. Indian Wells tennis and the Coachella festival in Indio require a longer drive; allow extra time during events and arrange transportation separately.

GUESTS, FEES & OPTIONAL EXTRAS
• The nightly rate covers up to six guests. Guests seven and eight are $50 per additional guest per night. Maximum occupancy is eight.
• Pets: $250 per stay. Up to two dogs or cats, each under 50 pounds, are welcome. Include pets in your reservation and clean up after them promptly. Pet mess left behind incurs an additional $500 cleaning fee.
• Service animals are accommodated in accordance with Vrbo's policy and applicable law. No pet fee applies to a service animal, and certification is not required. Other assistance animals are handled in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Spa heating is included. Optional pool heating is $150 per day, with a two-day minimum. Request pool heating at least 24 hours before arrival.
• Check-in is after 4 p.m.; checkout is by 11 a.m. Early check-in from 8 a.m. and late checkout until 6 p.m. each cost 50% of the nightly rate, subject to availability and advance approval.

HOUSE RULES & SAFETY
• No events, smoking, or drugs. No outdoor music; indoor music must not be audible at the property line. Palm Springs vacation-rental noise rules apply, and violations may result in city enforcement and fines.
• Only registered guests and pets are permitted. No overnight visitors; daytime visitors require advance approval. Service animals are handled under the policy above.
• The pool is unfenced. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Use the provided plastic dishes and pool towels; keep glass, cans, and sharp objects away from the pool and backyard. Turn pool lights off overnight.
• Please keep the A/C at 72°F or higher to support proper operation in the desert climate.
• No professional filming or photography without advance authorization.
• Before departure, load and start the dishwasher, strip used beds, gather used towels, take out the trash, and lock the doors and return any keys. Follow the arrival and departure instructions provided for your stay.
