The hotel is decorated nicely, with pictures of Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz and "rat pack" celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Junior, Dean Martin, etc.
We stayed 2 nights for New Years eve and had dinner accross the street at Vicky's Santa Fe [highly recommend; nice band, dancing, food[. So location was good and this is our second new years staying at this hotel. Lobby had a nice set with balloons and decorations where we took a cute picture. Unfortunately, maybe because of being New Years, the hallways and rooms next to us were very noisy. The morning of January 1st, we heard a huge fight next door where a man was yelling "this is my wife" and the woman saying "it's not what you think" ... . anyhow, loud noises, slamming of doors, etc. Not the hotel's fault other than the paper-thin walls. The air conditioner was also loud, so we had to turn up the volume of our "white noise machine " When ready to leave on January 2, with our suitcases in tow, the elevator on the second floor did not work. When we got to the reception desk to check out, the clerk was on the phone with an elderly lady that was presently stuck in the elevator. We got our car up front and saw the lady being assisted by a maintenance man apologizing profusely. We did not use the pool because it rain the whole time.
