First of all, the staff were all great! It's all downhill from there. Luggage carts were in horrible shape. One of the elevators was out of order for our whole stay. The hallways were dirty and all the linens and towels were thrown outside of the rooms onto the hallway floors. There was a lot of buckling on the floor vinyl and where there was carpet there were stains and open seams in places. I saw a room service tray sit on the floor for at least a day (it was still there when we checked out.) The room itself wasn't too bad other than peeling wallpaper, the worst shower curtain that did nothing to keep water in the shower and no shampoo in the dispenser. The balcony was so narrow, there wasn't room for a chair to sit outside. The heater was so loud, we had to turn it off to sleep. Our first room had lukewarm water in the shower and we had to change rooms. One of the maintenance men told me they had a problem with hot water getting to that side of the hotel. There was no bell assistance. The fitness center had no towels, no trash can and no sanitizer to clean the machines before or after use. We enjoyed sitting poolside with excellent piped in music, but there is a lot of disrepair. Friction tape around the spa was peeling so bad that I was worried some of the patrons may trip on it. The pipe barriers were rusted so bad that there were huge holes and severe staining on the concrete beneath them. Exterior doors were all open and didn't require a key/card to enter.
