Really disappointed, not worth the money.
1. Was called the day before and asked what time we were arriving so that they could prioritize our room, which I thought was really great. Standard check-in was 4. We arrived at 2 and thought we would check to see if our room was ready. There was a sign on the hotel lobby door that we had to go to the lobby of the sister property next door. We did and were told that there normally would be someone at the lobby during business hours...during our 2.5 day stay, we saw someone manning the lobby desk once.
We were then told our room wasn't ready, but that they would call us as soon as it was. We didn't hear from the hotel that our room was ready until 4:45 -- 45 minutes after standard check in.
2. Property -- we had a staff member walk us to o4ur room, which was the Desert Oasis. When we got into the courtyard, the pool was empty on a 98° day. It badly needed to be skimmed. Our room was under a staircase, and the chair outside was piled with dirty rags and used cleaning supplies.
3. Room -- smelled like chemicals and must as soon as we walked in, we had to open the door on a scorching day just to air it out. Chipped and old paint, dirty walls. Bathroom was dirty, cramped and covered in prior guest's hair clippings. The lights flickered, the sound of the lobby door slamming was so loud at night. Patio was dirty and furniture literally in shreds. Bed not comfortable and squeaky. Only plus was that the AC was very strong.
