Welcome to August House, a soulful modernist retreat in the heart of Deepwell - one of Palm Springs' most beloved and historic neighborhoods. From the moment you step inside, you'll feel the shift. The layout is wide open, with large sliding glass doors at both the front and back of the home that fill the space with warm desert light and blur the line between indoors and out. The open kitchen and living area form the heart of the home, anchored by a massive island perfect for cooking, gathering, pouring wine, and sharing long conversations. August House features two spacious king en‑suite bedrooms on opposite ends of the home, offering comfort and privacy for couples, families, or groups traveling together. A third bedroom - once a private workout studio - now serves as a full en‑suite guest room with its own private entrance leading to a serene patio garden. Here, you'll find three raised beds and a flourishing citrus grove with key lime, mango, grapefruit, kumquat, mandarin, and more - all growing in harmony.

Step into the backyard and you'll discover an outdoor living room styled for day‑to‑night enjoyment. Tongue‑and‑groove ceilings, two intimate seating areas, and two dining spaces make it effortless to live outdoors in true Palm Springs lifestyle fashion. Take a dip in the sparkling pool, unwind in the spa, or fire up the Ooni pizza oven and Weber grill for unforgettable meals under the stars. Water features on both sides of the home create a peaceful ambiance, and views of the San Jacinto Mountains frame every moment.

Inside, each bedroom includes a flatscreen TV, while the living room features an enormous 83" screen with Sonos speakers throughout the home for immersive sound. Whether you're hosting movie nights, cooking elaborate meals, or simply lounging with the doors open to the breeze, August House is designed to support whatever you need - rest, creativity, connection, or play.

Being a Good Vacation Rental Neighbor:

This vacation rental is located in a peaceful residential neighborhood perfect for your next poolside getaway. In order to keep the tranquility of the community, we ask that you be respectful and mindful of your neighbors while on vacation. Our homeowners have made this home available for others to enjoy with their responsible group that will treat the home and neighborhood with respect.

In order to maintain the highest quality of our homes and the peace and quiet of our neighborhoods, all guests must adhere to the city's and house rules. The City of Palm Springs prohibits music and loud noise. It strictly enforces these rules and prohibits parties, events, music, street parking, and disruptive guests. No music is allowed outdoors at any time. Quiet hours are between 9:00 pm and 10:00 am, and guests are asked to be inside during those hours and mindful of neighbors. Overnight guests shall not exceed the property's posted occupancy.

Friendly Reminder: Optional pool and spa heat is available at an additional cost of $79 nightly or $395 weekly. Pool and spa heat is recommended October thru May. For this, we will preheat your pool and ensure it is heated upon your arrival to a comfortable 86 degrees. Additionally, you will have access to heat the spa to 102 degrees. Spa heat only is available at $25 nightly. (During hot summer months, spa heat only can be enabled at no additional charge. These months include July, August, September).

Your total reservation price includes the nightly rate, cleaning fee, booking fee, guest service fee, and applicable local taxes. These guest-facing fees support professional cleaning, a safe and secure booking experience, and additional guest amenities and services designed to create a seamless vacation experience, including complimentary snacks and bottled water upon arrival.
