I think that this hotel got some undeserved criticism. It is a really good hotel. The only thing I have to say, and that is really important, is that the service in the pool area is really slow! Comically slow! And this is a pool hotel. Suggestion to the hotel: you must double or triple your staff in the pool bar. The pool is the reason for tourists coming here.

NH Palermo anbefales
Utmerket beliggenhet ikke langt fra havnen og grei respektive gåavstand til gamlebyen. Rolig, lite støy fra trafikk. Lett å reise fra hotellet til badestrand eller videre østover med bil. Frokost for 2 i 2 dager koster ca 40 Euro.

Nice location and breakfast
Nice location for City sightseeing. Superior service at. By the Staff in the reception. Good breakfast. Not recommended to walk alone at night in the area (we were warned by the receptionist).

Bra hotell, fikk det vi forventet
Vi hadde et fint opphold på nH Palermo. Har trukket fra for komfort på rommet fordi vi fikk to enkeltsenger istedet for dobbeltseng, og fordi rommet var litt lite for to personer og mye bagasje. Noen av de ansatte kunne godt ha vært litt vennligere, men de fleste var hjelpsomme og greie. Ellers var alt slik vi var blitt forespeilet og vi var fornøyde. Bassenget og området var supert, og frokosten var bra.

Fantastisk utsikt
Opplevde utrolig bra service. Bassenget var i utg.pkt stengt, med direktøren åpnet det da vi sa at vi ønsket oss dette. Frokost var meget bra. Hotellet fremstod som delikat. Litt støy fra trafikken.

Bra hotell nærme sentrum, langs kysten
Jeg og min mor bodde 10 dager på dette hotellet i september. Hotellet var rent og pent, og mannen som tok oss i mot var veldig hyggelig. Vi fikk et stilrent og passe stort rom i den nye delen. Noe liten balkong, men flott utsikt over havet. Bassengområdet var fint, men ulempe at man må låne badehette for å bade i det. God variert frokost! Frukt, brød, pålegg,småkaker, juice, kaffe, te osv... Ca.10 min å gå til sentrum,hvor du møter et hav av sko og klesbutikker, restauranter og barer. Ca en halvtime med buss til Mondello med kjempefine strender,utleie av solsenger, barer, mat og drikke. Fint og komme seg dit noen dager etter mye shopping og byliv i Palermo. Anbefaler også å ta turen innom Hammam spa, for tyrkisk bad/ massasje ++ Gikk dit på ca 20 min. Anbefaler absolutt dette hotellet til andre.

Bra hotell i Palermo
Oppholdet som varte i to døgn var meget bra. God frokost som kunne nytes i en fin hage. Vi bodde i den nye delen. Det eneste negative var noe harde senger. Hotellet kan trygt anbefales.

Store rom og rene rom
En av personene i reisefølget kom til et rom som AC ikke virket. Dette ble fikk ikke personalet til å ordne og kl 2 på natten ble vedkommende flyttet til et mindre og gammelt rom i en gammel del av hotellet. Rommene til de andre i reisefølget var tilfredstillende med store senger og 2 balkonger. Beliggenheten var ikke bra og omgivelsene fulle av søppel og luktet vondt. Vi reiste derfra en dag tidligere en planlagt.

Fikk et veldig fint rom i den nye delen. Hadde et fantastisk opphold. Det ble vasket hver dag, vi sitter igjen med et godt inntrykk av dette hotellet. Muligens at vi ikke hadde vært like fornøyd hvis vi hadde bodd i den gamle delen. På den negative siden ligger hotellet rett ved en veldig trafikert vei, og en god gåtur til det jeg vil kalle sentrum. Personalet var også noe strengt spesielt mtp. regler rundt bassenget. Det var påbudt med badehette når vi skulle bade. Alt i alt et hotell jeg vil anbefale!

Store gode rom, men slitte. Fin service. Greit bassengområde, men barnebassenget "funket" ikke, måtte og bruke badehette og det er ikke vanlig lenger??? Var og restaurant og mulighet for servering ved bassenget, dette var litt vel stivt etter min mening. Minuset er at dette er et litt forretningspreget hotell. En del som gikk rundt pent kledde og snakket i mobiler, tydelig kurs/konferanse. Tror ikke det var populært da vi beveget oss i resepsjonen fra bassengområdet i ført badetøy og med handklede for å be om nøkkel til rommet. Flott og god frokost. Hotellet ligger 13 min fra sentralstasjon og hovedgaten med butikker. Hovedgaten er utrolig lang. Hotellet ligger ved sjøen/havn, ikke strand.

Poor service, dirty room
The first thing that met us in the lobby was a dodgy security-guy who looked at us as if he suspected us to be criminals (Not very welcoming). We didnt get the room we booked. The breakfast was ok, but NO vegetables at all, and they didnt refill the buffet fast enough so people had to stand there waiting for food. Nor did they clean the tables, so people pretty much had to clean the tables themselves before sitting down. The bar in the lobby was always without staff, so ordering a simple coffee or beer took forever. (The beer was btw lukewarm tuborg) Finally when we left there was a very nice lady in the reception. If everybody working there could be like her the stay would be a LOT better..

Supert sted å bo dersom man ønsker et hotell med svømmebasseng. Litt utdatert i den gamle delen av hotellet, men romslig nok. Fint bassengområde, ok frokost og mulighet for å gå til byen (ca 10 min). Vi likte oss hvertfall :)

The reception staff seemed reluctant to give service when asked for example for directions. Otherwise the hotel was fine. My room was a little worn.

The hotel and staff are great but the area and Sicily in general is dirty and run down. Homeless people sleep in the area, the streets are dirty and poorly maintained.

La chambre n’est pas du tout insonorisée, nous avions l impression que la fenêtre était entre-ouverte, alors qu’elle était fermée. Nous étions réveillés toutes les nuit avec les bruits extérieurs Absence de bouilloire et de bouteille d’eau gratuites. Pas suffisamment de choix dans le menu du restaurant, mais le peux de plats étaient de bonne qualité.

The location for this hotel is great for a short stay in Palermo .. close enough to both the port and the city for all the sights. What was very disappointing and we hadn’t been made aware of was the pool area was closed due to the pool being updated with a new tile band. There are no other areas for lying out at the hotel and the hotel reception were not apologetic when we asked about it. The cleaning around the hotel is a little lax. Rubbish, glasses and a water bottle was left by the pool area for the 3 days we were there. The staircase to the first floor was definitely not mopped down or swept either. The same 6 black sticky spots on the first 6 stairs were there for the duration too. The bedroom was nice but again floors were not washed and the bathroom cleaning was a bit haphazard.

Dinner Menu. Just for tourists, should be nice to have a Pizza/Sandwich/Hamburguers. After you enjoy the City, you need to come back to the hotel and have an easy dinner. After Sunset, have a car or use the taxis. The area is dark and full of homeless. Nothing happened... but you don't feel safe walking by.

Gentile Ospite,la ringraziamo per la fiducia riposta nel nostro Hotel NH Palermo e per averci dedicato del tempo a descriverci i problemi nei quali è incorso durante il suo soggiorno.Siamo dispiaciuti di non aver soddisfatto le sue aspettative le avevamo assegnato durante l'ultimo soggiorno la camera vista mare al 4 piano, ci dispiace che non abbia gradito l'attenzione nell'assegnazione, essendo la camera al 4 piano magari e' un po meno rumorosa rispetto alle altre essendo queste tipologia di camere sulla strada principale costiera di PalermoSpero vivamente di avere da lei una seconda opportunità per ospitarla nel nostro albergo NH di Palermo.Cordiali salutiCustomer Care NH Palermo
