Inside, you’ll find a bright and modern living space with all the holiday essentials. Prepare a scrumptious cheeseboard in the well-equipped kitchenette, grab yourself an ice-cold beverage out of the fridge, and enjoy quality time with your loved one long into the evening, with the dishwasher taking care of the clean-up.

Recline on the plush, queen-sized bed and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV with Netflix and Freeview or stay connected with family and friends on the complimentary WiFi. A contemporary bathroom and shared laundry facilities complete the set-up for your stay.

Bayview Suite has direct access via a pathway to the beach, and with paddleboards and kayaks available for guest use, you’ll be heading down to the golden shoreline to spend your days paddling around the bay and taking in the stunning sights in no time!

You’re also less than a 20-minute walk or 3-minute drive from an array of eateries and conveniences on Paihia’s waterfront. Head to Charlotte’s Kitchen for a sublime waterfront lunch, then take a ferry from next door to Russell for the afternoon. You’ve got the Bay of Islands at your fingertips here!

Please note that the kayaks and paddleboards are shared facilities with the adjoining downstairs apartments, which may also be occupied throughout your stay. They are also available to be booked through Bachcare. To view these, search Bayview Corner Suite and Bayview Apartment..Please be aware that there is only one carport space available for guests. This is under the sign Resident Parking Only P1Please be aware that the laundry facilities at this property are shared.Please be aware this property does not have a full kitchen. A kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and dishwasher is available for use during your stay. Guests should bring their own Nespresso compatible pods to make use of the available machine. There are life-jackets available to use with the paddleboards and kayaks but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety.Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.

Waitangi anniversary stay

The unit was comfortable and in a beautiful, unfortunately the sound proofing between the units is not great & any movement in the night is heard in the adjoining units. Some other cooking facility as well as the microwave, wiuld make a difference.

Had to sleep in car !

We arrived and entered our apartment. There was a strong smell of RAID bug spray and water was leaking on floor by sink and dishwasher. Contacted Bachcare and the said it did not smell according to property manager. The smell was so bad that even with the door open I could not sleep as it gave me a headache and sore throat. That night I had to sleep in our car. The next day property manager came over and saw leak and smelt odour. We were moved to unit beside ours which had no smell or water leak. I was surprised with Bachcare unit and the response I received. Good Morning Shawn, Thank you for your paitence well we look into this further for you. After careful consideration and investigation we have come to the decision that we will not be able to provide a refund of one nights stay. We understand from your explanation that the smell of Raid was overwhelming and caused headaches and also made it hard to sleep at the property. From the notes on the booking our team moved you to a new property as promply as they were able. As mentioned we are not able to refund the night however we do want to provide something by way of a goodwill gesture so with that in mind we have decieded to refund the cleaning fee of $81 as well as our booking fee of $45.

Review

Lovely location and amazing views / access to beach and beautiful serene property. Also access to paddle boards and canoe. There is no cooktop in the unit. There is a bbq and microwave. Very limited cooking utensils / microwave cooking dishes. If you are only planning on eating out occasionally then you may want to bring a couple of light microwave cookware / basic utensils with you or be content with cooking on the bbq. Very easy preparation space for breakfast and for lunch on the run. Would definitely rebook the property.
