Welcome to Tall Pines Retreat!

This craftsman-style wood home is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Lake Forest Estates, surrounded by tall Ponderosa pines that provide ample shade and comfort. Despite being conveniently located close to town, the house retains a calming, forest-like feel. This home features 3 bedrooms and 2½ baths.

Enter through the covered front porch to a spacious area with vaulted wood ceilings that encompass the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The main room boasts numerous windows, a cozy gas fireplace, a sofa bed, and a Smart TV. The well-appointed kitchen is fully stocked and ready to help with all your culinary needs. Adjacent to the dining area, the sunroom is ideal for morning coffee or a quiet read.

All bedrooms feature French doors that open onto one of three decks, ensuring ample outdoor access and a connection to nature. All bedrooms have Smart TVs. The master bedroom hosts a king-size bed, a sitting area, and access to the back deck. It also includes an en-suite bathroom complete with a deep jetted soaking tub and shower.

The 2 additional bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds and the other with a queen-size bed, share a full bath between them. Both rooms open to a large deck, spanning the length of the house, featuring outdoor seating and a gas fire table perfect for al fresco dining.

Step outside to a newly built deck and pergola over a 6-person hot tub. Gather around the cozy gas fire pit for an evening of marshmallow roasting and stargazing. Whatever you decide to do, you will find all you need at Tall Pines Retreat!

This home has a swamp cooler

This is pet friendly for dogs only. 2 dog max. The pet fee is 75.00 per dog, as well as a refundable 100.00 per dog as well.

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

We loved this house. Talking already about coming back next year. Wish they had a gate on back porch. We spent most of our time there. We have a dog and she could get out. Weekend Away

This house was so cozy and convenient. A lot of thought has obviously gone into every bit of space. The multiple options for porch sitting and breathing in the mountain air was amazing. The house has all the amenities that allowed us to cook great food and also has close access to restaurants and grocery options. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the wildlife friends who share the neighborhood (deer)!

Perfection

Absolutely magical stay from start to finish! It was just after Christmas and the added decorations and Christmas tree lights on the outdoor tree made things even cozier for our family. The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable - loved the fireplace, hot tub and kitchen - loved the new appliances and beds - location is fabulous as well and near grocery stores and restaurants - all was great - don’t hesitate!

Phenomenal mountain getaway!

This house has it all! You can tell the owners have put some serious thought in their amenities. From bedside fans in the bedrooms (we love white noise) to extra blankets all over the house to spare toothpaste in the bathroom- the attention to detail is amazing. The kitchen is also the most well stocked of any home I’ve stayed in for vacation. We were cooking the whole time so that was very appreciated! Would absolutely stay again and 110% recommend.

Great Place in Pagosa

The property was exactly as described. It was well maintained and very clean. Defiantly a lived in and decorated owner home. We like to cook many of our meals and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans etc along with a nice amount of spices. Although we could have used some more kitchen towels but maybe we just didn't know where to look. Hot tub was clean a hot. Definiately would be a return for us.

Relaxing stay with family

We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Love that it had Things that we didn’t even know we would need or want. The amenities were really nice. Plenty of places to have privacy with three separate outdoor decks. And most of all our dog felt welcome. There were dog bowls, toys, and a few other things that really showed the tremendous attention to detail. Hopefully next time we can stay for a longer time.

Pagosa Springs Retreat

We had a fantastic time at Pagosa Springs. The house had quality beds and bedding, towels for bath and hot tub, all the necessities for cooking and cleaning, and very few rules for checking in and out. VIP Services were very helpful and answered our questions right away. They also arranged activities and the best massage ever with therapist Sarah Herbert Scott. The hot tub was very large and perfect after a day at Wolf Creek. This house had everything we needed and more! We will definitely stay here again.

We did enjoy our stay in Tall Pines! The home is nice, and clean, and the kitchen is completely stocked! My only comment would be one photo showing the outdoor chimenea, and it is even on the property, but the HOA does not allow any outdoor wood fires, that was a bit misleading, but overall the property was GREAT!

Wonderful place

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this wonderful Pagosa Springs CO home. Everything was as shown in the pictures. This is a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed the covered deck more than any other feature. We did use the hot tub one evening and it worked perfectly. The king bed in the primary suite was very comfortable. We did not use the two additional bedrooms. The large kitchen is well stocked. We made almost all of our meals at the home and found nothing was lacking. FYI: there is a small pantry in the laundry room with additional dry goods. I didn’t notice that until about day 2. The only issue we had was the TV in the living room was not working properly when we arrived; was not able to connect to the internet. We called the property mgr (Lori) and she came to the house house within about 30 minutes and showed us how to re-enter the password. No other issues after that. We saw several deer every evening as we relaxed on the deck; several Doe’s with fawns and a couple of Bucks as well. We were within 10 minutes of restaurants, a grocery store and the Pagosa Brewery. We will not hesitate to stay here again if we come back to Pagosa Springs.
