The Space:
The Summerland Suite features a private bedroom with a comfortable king bed and a separate living room with a twin-size daybed that functions as a cozy couch. A twin trundle bed is tucked underneath, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for families or small groups.
This layout makes the suite ideal for couples, small families, or friends traveling together.
Guest Access:
Guests enjoy a dedicated carport space and private exterior entrance with secure keyless entry for easy, contactless check-in.
The Neighborhood:
The Peak Motel is located in Packwood, just minutes from downtown shops, cafés, and breweries — including Longmire Springs Brewing right across the street.
Mt. Rainier National Park is a short drive away, and White Pass Ski Area is about 20 minutes east, making this an ideal basecamp for hiking, skiing, fishing, and exploring the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
Packwood is a small mountain town with big adventure access — quiet, scenic, and perfectly positioned for year-round outdoor fun.
Getting Around:
Downtown Packwood is about 0.5 miles away and walkable for most guests. Longmire Springs Brewing is directly across the street, with Zest SriThai Food Truck and a local thrift shop in the same parking lot — making it easy to grab dinner, drinks, or browse for hidden treasures without driving.
Please note that Packwood is a small mountain town and sidewalks are limited in some areas, so use caution when walking, especially after dark.
Other Things to Note:
We offer Starlink Wi-Fi, which works well for most browsing and streaming needs. As with any rural mountain location, occasional slow speeds or brief outages can occur. For backup entertainment, each suite includes a DVD player, movies, puzzles, and board games. Cell service is available, so you won’t be off-grid.
Packwood is a true mountain community, and it’s common to see elk and other wildlife roaming through town. Please enjoy observing them from a distance and do not feed or approach wildlife.
If traveling with pets, we kindly ask that they be kenneled when left unattended and kept off furniture. Excessive linen damage may result in replacement fees.
Guests staying longer than four nights may request access to the on-site coin-operated laundry facilities.
Interaction with Guests:
The Summerland Suite offers easy self check-in with secure keyless entry. While there is no traditional front desk, on-site property managers are available should you need assistance, including after-hours support.
