«Great location in the Gaslamp.
Travelers: Mom and 12yr old child.
The lobby looks much nicer in photos than it does in person. It’s not bad, but the pictures make it seem larger and more upscale than it actually is.
We stayed in a single room with a private bath. The room had a bit of an odd odor—likely a mix of an older building and cleaning products. The bed was a bunk (twin over full), which was unexpected; based on the photos, I thought it would be just a full-size bed. It was too squeaky ...
