«The wonderful Lida and her aunt Vilma own this lodging. They are both very sweet and contributed to the good vibe of the place. Lida speaks perfect English and can help you arrange a medicine ceremony with a local contact of hers if you wish.
I really liked that this place was just out of town, along the river, and very peaceful. It’s only a short walk into town; a short walk in the other direction is the start of the Incan Trail to the amazing archaeological site Puma Marca. My room on the ...

«We were able to find this b&b last minute, and although the office was closed, they were willing to accommodate us. Rooms had private baths and looked like the photos. This was a great location in town that was very walkable. Really worth a stay if going to the quaint town of Ollentaytambo. The included breakfast was excellent! Would be nice if Orbitz reflected their office hours.»

«AMAZING stay! The best and coolest place we have ever stayed on. If you are visiting Ollantaytambo you have to book this place for a night. Stunning views from the dome and I recommend early check in to enjoy the view.
We choose to not stay in the climbing domes and instead choose the top cupole dome which was a short walk to. It was not that expensive and so worth it. We fell asleep to a Thunderstorm meaning we could see lightning on the Victoria Mountain.
Everything went smooth with the ...

«We loved staying here! The family were lovely and accommodating. They took through the wilderness in their back yard and beyond which was super cool. The rooms were comfortable and we especially loved our patio overlooking the town and endless festivals (do they ever end?!?!). There wasn't hot water, but that is what we expected for this price. I would recommend!»

«We stayed here for 5 nights while exploring the area and doing our 2 day trip to Machu Picchu. This was the perfect place. It’s not fancy but it’s clean, bed was super comfy, it’s on a quiet road beside a stream that sounded so great when going to sleep. Breakfast was simple but everything we needed. Location was a couple on minute walk to everything in town. Also could see the ruins right outside our window, so easy to explore those too. Ollantaytambo was the greatest little town. Very ...

«The staff were very helpful and tentative.
Room was clean and efficient.
Close to the train station was helpful with plenty of taxis to assist if wanted.»

«Hotel Las Qolqas is much more than a place to stay — it’s a destination in itself. Surrounded by majestic mountains, it combines luxury and nature in perfect harmony. The hotel is impeccably maintained, yet it lets you feel the powerful presence of the surrounding landscape. The food is outstanding, by chef Lenin and his staff: Luis, Rafael, Victor, Eliana, Dafne and Sara. The atmosphere is serene, and every detail carefully crafted. If you’re visiting Machu Picchu, stay at least three nights to ...
