Excellent sejour
Tres bon sejour au Colombus. Accueil amical et attentif. Appartement vaste propre et bien équipé. Grande terrasse avec belle vue. WIFI ET CLIM. piscine superbe avec transats et parasols. Hotel tres calme et bien situé. On reviendra !

Overall the staff was very accommodating, the room was clean on arrival - well stocked with towels and bath supplies -the issue we had was the shower. it was cold every day they told me it was the valve then the water heater, but never offered to change the room. Also, there is no water pressure in the evening to earlier morning.at best a dribble out of all faucets. If you looking for a cheaper place to stay this will work. I wouldn't stay there again.

This was our third trip to SXM and The Colombus Residence was the best hotel we’ve stayed at so far. The place is very well maintained and clean. We had the smallest unit by the pool but it was so spacious and bright. The kitchen had a functional stove, a microwave, a fridge, cookware etc. bathroom was brightly lit and kept very modern and clean. We loved having a breakfast in our patio and jumping into the pool when we decided to stay in and relax. Delphine the owner was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. Cecilia who works there as a staff was so kind, attentive, and fun to talk to. They both got in touch with us before, during, and after our visit to make sure we were enjoying our stay which was very sweet and made us feel like a family. I will definitely book this place next time we are going to SXM. What a great place to stay if you have the French-style, laid back vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The property is well maintained. Delphine is a phenomenal host , charismatic, and excited to show you around . Quick response when you have a question to anything . We had an issue with our place it was rainning hard that day , the place was flooded she upgraded us to a suite ,call plumbers quick , fix the issue and the bext day our room was ready . Great place in st Martin (french side) quite neighborhood. I will certainly go back

STAY HERE - This place is great.
This is a great place to stay. I wish I could give more stars. The room was clean and large. The pool is beautiful. It’s a quiet hotel. There are a handful of really great restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Parking is easy. And the owner is incredible - upbeat, gracious, kind, helpful.... We had to postpone our trip 2 days (due to flight problems) and she honored our reservation and didn’t charge us even though we had non-refundable rooms. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. It was a wonderful hotel and a beautiful island.

Highly recommended St Martin hotel
Came for a one week break from winter. Hotel arranged ride from and to airport. Excellent facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for walks and tasty dining.

Loved the patio shaded by greenery that allowed us to sit in the heat without getting sunburned; and pool was right next to our room - so handy. Room is large and very comfortable. Delphine and Cecilia are very personable and always willing to serve. Cecilia picked us up at the airport, make a reservation at the restaurant for us and the next day drove us to the car rental agency.

The Columbus Hotel is well maintained and Delphine is so gracious! The marina and surrounding properties are still recovering from hurricane Irma. If you like quiet and time alone is a tranquil setting, this will be right for you. It is on the French side, so you need adapters for electrical appliances and sometimes the water in shower/sink (not toilet) is interrupted. I don't know how often that happens.

We loved our stay at the Colombus Hotel. It is a quiet area, still a short drive from all the island’s main attractions. The apartment was really clean and comfortable, we felt at home! Definitely going back!

The hotel is in a very quiet location. Very comfortable, small and cozy hotel In which you feel that you are truly relaxing. The very friendly owner of the hotel helped us with all questions. Really enjoyed from check in/out service process. The rooms are very large, with kitchen appliances. Nice view and very clean! Beautiful illuminated swimming pool, a few feets from our balcony was open 24 hours. Not far away, two nice restaurants and a convenience store. Everything was perfect and we will definitely come again for a longer vacation.

Lovely room, nice size and additional touches. The patio off our room was private and a great place for morning breakfast and pre-dinner glass of wine. Oyster Pond is best enjoyed with a car. Stellar restaurant and small grocery store at the bottom of the hill. Great value for the cost.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating Great place to relax. Does require a car although several restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant on site does breakfast and lunch. Hotel itself is fully repaired from hurricane damage. Very nice and comfortable.

The Colombus Hotel is all newly renovated. The rooms are spotless and the pool is refreshing. Kitchenettes (fully equipped) are in the rooms so mealtime is easy and less expensive than eating out for every meal. Ms. Delphine is wonderful and can help with any questions. We will return.

I enjoyed my stay here..
The condition of the hotel and the room I had was very good. There is a cafe for breakfast and lunch right next door and for dinner there are 3 restaurants within walking distance. Oyster Pond is still in the rebuilding stage after the hurricanes of 2017 so there are still signs of destruction and rebuilding. I had a very quiet and relaxing stay. The hotel also offers transfers and tours-Cecilia drove me around the island and we had a very nice day...Oyster Pond has suffered a lot of damage and is away from the main attractions-so for mobility a rental car may be desired.

Lovely small complex. Personal touches. Unfortunately hurricane Irma destruction surrounded this little “pearl” in Oyster Pond. Columbus hotel made a tremendous recovery! You will need a car.

Area is Devastated, Sad.
We love The Columbus Hotel and its staff! However, the hurricane last year really did a lot of damage to the area and the French government has apparently not much done to help the local residents and businesses. Very sad. The Dutch side is in much, much better shape and is recovery nicely. I'm afraid, as much as it pains us, that until things are better on the French side that you stay on theDutch side.

A little gem of a hotel restored after Irma!
Despite Hurricane Irma’s destruction, hotels and restaurants are coming back. The Colombia Hotel is doing a great job at welcoming guests into fully restored units. The surrounding are is sad but there are a few restaurants up and running in the immediate area. The hotel pool is handy, but you have a 10-15 minute drive to a beach. It’s great to see the island coming back. The people are more than welcoming.

I visited St Maarten in January on the heels of hurricane Irma. Needless to say the island was just starting to recover at this point, and I was concerned what kind of shape the hotel would be in. Long story short, what a nice little hotel with a great pool, and a large clean room stay in. Delphine, the owner hooked me up with a car and was really great throughout. It took me a long time to write this review, but I think that the Colombus deserves the customers. I'll be going back in 2019

Very clean and pretty hotel, with kind and welcoming staff member Cecilia. The downsides were a little noise (people partying in the pool at night) and the fact the Oyster Pond area (marina and surrounding places) is still being rebuilt.
